Following situation.
I have a CECH-2004A here that was on 4.91 Evilnat (possible DEX because I experimented with debug features)
A few weeks ago I removed the hard drive to reuse it for something else. ( I formatted it)
Now I installed a different hard drive in the PS3 and want to install the firmware again.
But in all situations I get " No applicable update data was found."
I tried:
a few different USB drives, all formatted in MBR/Fat32
4.91 OFW
4.92 OFW
4.91 Evilnat CEX/PEX/DEX/D-PEX
4.92 Evilnat CEX/PEX/DEX/D-PEX
(well all the variants)
REBUG_4.84.2_D-REX
REBUG FW v3.55.
REBUG FW v3.55.4RE-_'999'_DOWNGRADER
PUP file saved as PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP
I'm not sure what to do now..
I was seeking for help in a discord and people were saying its because I'm possibly updating from a PS3 in DEX mode.
