It's not 2.17! I dunno what file that user tried but it wasn't a EU pkg. I installed the 1.04 pkg & on launch it asks if you want to update to 1.13.....
EU version stops at 1.13 & it's a different app really. [emoji6]

The funny thing is until today I had installed Netflix spoofed to 2.25. On start, it tells me that there is a new version (2.26) but if I cancel the update, I go back to the main page & am able to login.... Despite not having the latest version?

Also, I checked the EU pkg & it seems totally different. The one I linked in previous post is 1.04 so it's an old release.

Both old & new version appear to be relying on QT?
There is a QT sprx file which arouses my curiosity actually... I wonder whether it could be reused in a homebrew, I must investigate...
Anyway I already patched app.sprx so tonight I will repack the app correctly & test it.
If it works I shall post a download link for users experiencing the server issue so they can test it. [emoji6]

Last I checked the EU pkg and US pkg were interchangeable neither one seems region specific

then, that makes sense. I don't have a netflix account, so I can't test.
 
ok im on rebug 4.80 rex and i got banned, i downloaded these packages

Netflix 2.26 PARAM spoof.pkg
Netflix-v2.26-[NPUP00030]-NoPSN.pkg

now when i get on netflix it tells me that i have network issues ui-800-3
server 1 ok
server 2 no
nw-4-8
server 3 no
nw-4-8
internet connection ok
nw-4-8-2

does anyone at all know how this can be fixed thank you.

At the moment Netflix noPSN 2.26 doesn't seem to work in some countries. Users in those countries get exactly the same error as you.
For the moment there's no fix.
Later on, I may be posting a Netflix EU nopsn pkg for you to test but I have no idea whether it will work.

As Netflix seems to work fine in the US, in the meanwhile you could try using Netflix via an American proxy or Charles on your PC connected to Internet with American based VPN. It may or may not work but it's worth a try.
I can't test this for you because Netflix works fine where I live! For the moment anyway... It might not last...!

Well I am not in the US but bitsbubba is!
He uses his own US nopsn pkg spoofed to 2.26 & he can stream Netflix films alright..
At least he could until yesterday or the day before...

I just checked on my system and all seems working fine still
Delete Netflix and re-install just the second pkg as it already includes the spoof

how do i delete the packages off my ps3 to start over fresh because the pkg dont show up to be deleted.
 
its no big deal i am picking up a ps4 tomorrow so i will just use that for netflix and this system to learn how to mod.
 
bitsbubba: dont know how you got yours to work.Im on rebug 4.8 .It got banned the other night now like everyone else I cant get Netflix-v2.26-[NPUP00030]-NoPSN.pkg to work .Is there a setting where missing other then installing pkg.
 
There's nothing else to do. The pkg contains both the spoof & the nopsn patch.

It'd seem that some American users are also affected then...
You could try a proxy or VPN... Same as atreyu187....

Yea his tools from me playing with it can only put stuff in the Game section of the XMB. You can just edit the SFO if i recall but doing thst you might as well use PS3Tools.

As for Netflix I will go over my settings tonight to help others. My time has been so limited lately. I finally got Attack on Titan and its still sitting in the shrink wrapper.
