Comments:
I am having ELF signing issues!?!? I can't resign the original ignition.ELF with return to XMB error. If anyone can resign the original ELF and get normal load, please post which tool, version, etc,thanks. I have had mixed results of freezing and return to xmb issues thus far, will post more info soon from my findings.

Comments:
Having similar SPRX signing issues as Amazon app. Whenever any modifications are made, the app returns to XMB. This may be the SPRX not getting properly resigned for what the EBOOT is expecting.

Confirmed PSN Bypass In IDA:
65F90 bl sub_65E6C <-- NOP HERE FOR PSN PATCH ;)

Hex Offset:
0x055F90

Comments:
PSN Patch Successful


Will update as I find more info and will post full NoPSN packages when finished.

Great post...
I really like the idea of posting enough information for potential contributors so they can try to help.

Obviously RE requires specific skills but like everything else those skills can be acquired & these nopsn projects are kind of ideal for that purpose...

if bitsbubba's suggestion does not work, try removing "/dev_hdd0/game/NPUP00030CACHE" or
"/dev_hdd0/game/NPEB00874CACHE" if they still exist

So glad my Netflix just works without PSN now. Funny how they did all that work to stop No-PSN patched apps only to fudge it up themselves LOL
 
on a side note, I don't think @bitsbubba saw my comment in the worst game u've ever played thread. what do I need with a nudity mod when I have the real thing? :-P

Thank you. YouTube works great so far and you don't have to press circle at psn login like previous patches.

After several hours changing tens of values from calls to the PSN Manager, I thought....well, why not just patch the PSN Manager!! Voila!

Several areas were patched that may not need patched,but were applied to be "safe". I will probably go through the edits and comment out (rather than remove) the lines to be more easily noticeable in a diff scenario. I got excited with the DELETE key! I will minimize the patching, if possible. So far, testing has been perfect with all 3 regions.

Details of PSN Bypass will be posted on NGU :)
