Thanks to @lmn7 for releasing his Auto HEN Installer to the community!

It allows you to easily install HEN completely OFFLINE. You do NOT need to install HAN first. It can also be hosted online (if you have your own website of course).

To help you use it, I (@Coro) have written the following guide for offline installation. Please post your questions in this thread and I will try to help you out (I'm sure others will too).

Auto HEN Installer will install HEN 3.0.3 onto your PS3 running HFW 4.86. All the files needed are included in the zip file at the end of this post. It can be hosted from your android phone using kWS webserver or from your PC using XAMPP. Other webservers (like MiniWeb) should work too but I only tested kWS and XAMPP (For help setting up kWS, see the second post in this thread).

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • You must be on Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 4.86 to use this installer. If you are NOT on HFW 4.86, install it before using this installer.
  • You do NOT need to install Official Firmware (OFW). HEN and the auto installer need HFW to work.
  • You only need to install HFW one time.
  • If you tried to use any HEN installer on **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) (or the mirror) recently and lost icons on xmb, you should reinstall HFW before using this installer.
  • PS3HEN.BIN file will be installed to the hard drive instead of flash. This is necessary to make the script work. It should NOT cause any issues (UPDATE - HEN Toolbox release notes say "PS3HEN.BIN needs to be on flash for the included enabler to work"). If you would prefer to have PS3HEN.BIN installed to flash, follow the OPTIONAL section of this tutorial below after using the Auto HEN Installer.
  • If your PS3 is connected to the internet and finds a (future) update for HEN, the update will switch PS3HEN.BIN from hard drive to flash. It should update and work normally without issues.
  • To host the P3T file on usb instead of on the webserver, see this post by @lmn7.

-----USAGE GUIDE-----

Part 1 -- GETTING AND PREPARING THE FILES:
  • Download the zip file at the end of this post. md5 F46040DA3DAF2F97FF8DAA49AC2DBD07
  • If you need HFW 4.86, download it from HERE. md5 BBD0ED644AA2EF89D34AB3CC2C06DD0D
  • Extract the files from zip file and copy them into your webserver's home directory. There should be three files. Do NOT rename them.
Part 2 -- RUNNING INSTALLER:
  1. Connect your phone/PC to the same network as your PS3.
  2. Start your webserver and note the IP address and port number.
  3. Turn on PS3.
  4. Open browser.
  5. Enter IP addres and port number seperated by a colon.
  6. When the webpage loads it will start to download a file named HEN.P3T (If the download doesn't start, follow this post by @lmn7 & skip step 7).
  7. When it says "Download completed" press CIRCLE.
  8. It will say "Installing HEN" and should reboot in a few seconds.
  9. After PS3 reboots, press X on Enable HEN icon. If you see "Welsome to PS3HEN" then you are done!

(OPTIONAL--YOU MAY NOT HAVE TO DO THIS)

ONLY do this part if you want to have PS3HEN.BIN installed to flash instead of hard drive or want to use HEN Toolbox. Again, it should NOT cause any issues (except for HEN Toolbox).

First use Auto HEN Installer as detailed above and then, after reboot, enable HEN and use Package Manager to install the full HEN package file for 4.86 from usb (Download from ps3xploit website). (UPDATE: For 4.87 the full HEN pkg file is under Package Manager. Install it after installer reboots and you have enabled hen.)

How to use kWS webserver for android:

Connect your phone to PC with usb cable and copy the files from zip to the phone. Put them in the "root" directory of the internal storage. It is the top directory on the phone's internal storage. This is the directory that has folders in it named "Android", "DCIM", and "Download". You can use a different folder by changing "Home Directory" in settings.

--INSTRUCTIONS--
1 Tap three dots in top right hand corner and tap "Settings"
2 Scroll down and tap "Directory Index"
3 Tap empty checkmark box beside "Directory index" to enable directory listing.
4 Tap BACK twice to return to main screen.
5 Connect phone to wifi network that PS3 is on. (PS3 does not have to use wifi--it can use a network wire to connect to router)
6 Tap "Start" on kWS main screen
7 Check phone IP address and Port number. IP is number after "Host" (in the picture below there is no number--it says localhost instead because i was not on wifi yet when i started server) Port number is probably 8080 but check it to be sure. When you enter the numbers into PS3 browser, put a colon between them. So if your IP is 192.168.1.25 and Port is 8080 then you will enter it into PS3 browser like this 192.168.1.25:8080

If you get "Error: Path (something) does not exist" then check "Home Directory" setting. If the page you are trying to load doesnt show, the server should show you a list of files (if you enabled "Directory index") just click on the one you need and set it as homepage.

Sorry I am new to this, I am trying to install HEN installer on my ps3 now but the installer either doesnt initialise or if it does, i install it and get prompted with an exit message when it is done to start finishing the download for HEN but it doesnt show up. I've done the system software download off my USB but that's what doesnt work for me

same brother im facing the same issue hope someone make a short video and show b4 it was very easy
 
I've been trying to guide my brother through installing HEN today but it hasn't been working, I'm presuming because of the server issues. If I get him to use this method would the Web server need to be running whenever he wants to enable HEN or does that happen straight from the playstation?

Sorry for the dumb question, I've always used CFW so never needed HEN.

No, therewill be an icon after installing. it says "Enable HEN". No need for internet to enable or use hen.

make sure you extract all THREE files and put them in webserver home directory. if you do not use kws or xmapp, what webserver did you use?

If the download doesn't trigger using the installer, you can download the file manually through the browser (HEN.P3T) and run the script again. When the download message pops up, move the mouse cursor around a little and the installation will trigger. I don't know why the download won't trigger for some, seems to be a web server issue (or the file isn't in the server directory).
 
the old auto installer works if you edited code, i only need to redirect downloadhen() when browser close ,

i redirect .p3t to my kws and it worked and downloaded, when i triggered install hen it successed then it auto close the browser after that it tried to downlaod Latest Hen pkg but i got error because i could not redircet the location of Latest Hen pkg.

so any help! i want to learn actually lol

i learnt that winow.location but could not put it on use to my mini web ( i meen i want only use that code to locate the mini web URL then i give him the name of the file that i want to download, so i can use any mini web even with different URL or ip.

i got lost because i could not know which line that download Latest Hen.pkg after auto close browser

this is the only auto installer...i think you mean the alternative installer.

this uses p3t file but the alternative uses pkg IIRC. the p3t file for Auto HEN Installer should only be used with the html file it came with.
 
I did all the steps and HEN is already installed and all... BUT
When i try to Enable HEN, the console just freeze in the screen " Enabling HEN "
What can i do ?

are you sure that you are on hfw 4.86?

100% sure. I activate it once before, but i restarted the console and downloaded one store to play GaMeS and when i tried to activate again to install the store, the console just froze. I'm sure there is nothing with the console, cuz i can play and do all the other stuff normally, just the HEN enabler are freezing.
