this uses p3t file but the alternative uses pkg IIRC. the p3t file for Auto HEN Installer should only be used with the html file it came with.

i meant the online Auto Hen installer , it is downloading p3t first ,then click initialize, after it success we click on install hen, then it auto close the browser with message "ps3 hen 3.01 " , after that it start downloading Latest Hen pkg to install.

i did that offline using released files. i only editing html to redirect p3t to my kws and provide the same file name on Home.
i only got an error at last part ( downloading Latest Hen pkg ) i think because i did not edit where the Lastest Hen pkg located in html code. so i need help in this part i could not recognize the target line that trigger the download of Latest Hen pkg.

alternative use only pkg without p3t you are right .

this freeze issue happen to me often, it can be solved with auto hen installer online (which i am trying to do it offline ) to enable only or doing alternative again to reinstall Latest hen. but if it kept freezing he need to cleannup the shit over ps3

i think hen itself is trying to download the pkg file. it is looking on **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) for it. it is not there right now so it gives error.

yes what i want to do is tell him that we replaced ps3xploit with my mini web URL lol

You need to decrypt the embedded SPRX within PS3HEN.BIN to change the update server. However, the URL would have to be around the same length (or shorter) in order to avoid corrupting the file.

oh so its not in *.js or *.html ‍♂️ i was reading the code for days ,then tried to search by names of the class lol , i will try to play with it i might learn new things then

Yes, Works great.

When Han in hfw 4.86 was not activated correctly, before the scortdew fixed it, I used this method to install hen offline.

For me it works without problems.

I just tested the old DeViL303 method with 4.86 HFW and it does still work. Just put the html file from the first post in this other thread and the latest full hen pkg (rename it to HEN.pkg) in the root of your webserver. The Auto HEN Installer is faster to me. Both can be hosted online.

The method mentioned in Devil's thread uses an older version of this project. It still works because the changes from 4.84-4.86 weren't significant enough to break it. However, I'd still recommend using this method due to the fact that it's both faster and easier to use, especially for noobs.

But of course anyone can use whatever method works best for them.

i got a ps3 has damaged blue ray, it happened to me yesterday it was on 4.82 it was unable to update with error shown in the middle of installation.. is Hen installer compatible with OFW 4.82? and what solution do i have if i come across like this cases! i would avoid the headache lol

afaik, hen isn't compatible with systems with a broken drive. fsm (factory service mode) leads to a brick I think. there may be a way out of it, but I'm not sure on hen. there is on cfw at least. anyway, nobd firmware is what you'd need, but that requires lv 1 and 2 patches. lv 2 isn't a problem, but lv 1 is currently not possible except with cfw.
