PS2 [Open PS2 Loader] Game Bug Reports

Just tried it on USB and FMV stutters aside, Aku-Aku/Uka-Uka dialogues don't skip and the music during races plays.
Without any modes enabled even.

So looks like it's one of those games that expects the same or lower transfer rate as it does on discs.
In that case, post an issue on GitHub explaining everything with details, including the USB behavior in comparison.
Maybe if they make a mode to force OPL on reading at a custom max speed it could help (like stating exactly 3000 KB/s or 1000 KB/s or something alike)

@1052

I changed the OPL and tried both the physical memory card as well as the VMC. Still having the same issue.

Also experienced this with GTA III all though all other games so far seem to be working.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 doesn't proceed past the intro FMV

SATA HDD, OPL v1 none of the further revisions

Mode 1, Mode 3 same no result. Disable ingame reset same refuses to boot to title

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 [SLUS_208.31]:

OPL Stable 1.1.0 SMB - works well

OPL Beta 1.2.0 2061 SMB - works well

@mistamontiel, my PS2 model is SCPH-90008. I use redump images and don't use PADEMU, VMC, GSM.

Jak and Daxter - The Precursor Legacy [SCUS_971.24]

OPL 2063 via ETH

PS2 Slim (SCPH-90010)

With modes 1,3 and 6 enabled only, game freezes on intro logo

If disabling pad emu, game works fine until first CGs then starts pausing every 1-2 seconds. In game same pausing issues continues.

Whats the situation with tales of the abyss using the beta builds nowadays? Is it fully playable now?

It's been a long time since I finished it (about a year ago I think) but I remember working pretty well on USB with 1.2.0 beta aside from FMV stutters in few places and game freezes only one time during that part where you have to escape the warring soldiers in Rugnica Plains.
Can't say about HDD or SMB or MX4SIO though.

great! If im going to play it, it would be via hdd. How did you get around the escaping of warring soldiers in rugnica plains without freezing the game?

also: did you play it without compatibility modes?

At first I didn't use compatibility modes.
Then after the freezing during Rugnica Plains I had to enable mode 1 or mode 2 I think.

hello friends, we have issue with opl mx4sio.

everytime we use cheat device ntsc with OPL_BDM_4.7.1 mx4sio card the game loads fine with cheats activated but when we reset the console to play another game the opl program does not see our mx4sio sd card we have to keep taking the mx4sio card out and reinserting it. also happens without running cheat device when in opl and loaded a game.

we have retro gem hdmi, modbo 5.0D, pal fat 5004 ps2. using free mcboot with 256gb samsung micro sd with bitfunx mx4sio formatted to exfat with default allocation.

please help us fix

Hi, the title "SLES525.16 - World Fighting" freezes in loading screen, can you fix it? Its a low cost game but i like it much :flustered: Thanks

Pd, I use it the last OPL version

Does anyone know if they are working on solving the GSM problem, because when I activate GSM 1080p or 720p the game is very accelerated, does anyone know if anyone is working on this, or does anyone know how to solve it, I tested it on Socom and it is very accelerated
