PS2 Open PS2 Loader v1.1.0

For image blur is sufficient to just connect PS2 by composite cable to TV with at at least native matrix in FullHD, and without using GSM. TV will make beautiful disaster with it which You expecting I believe. :)

But normally, peoples rather preferring razor sharp clear no interlaced image

Also the blur/AA/FF (flicker filter) you find natively on Ps2 games is shit. Disabling it is the first thing I do on every game (it is present in a lot of games, like GoW, Tekken 5, FFXII, SH3 and pratically every 2d fighting game and shooter, etc...).

It simply makes the picture less detailed and with dead colors (and even jaggies are just slightly mitigated).

Some games like FFX have the filter (a light one btw in this case) without the option to remove it. I like GSM for that, it completely disable the flicker filter.

A new test build (1719) is out!

A few changes:
- BDM: add GUI option for MX4SIO
- BDM: add MX4SIO support

Known issues:
IGR & The shutdown combination have stopped working
OPL freezes when Applications Start Mode is set as Auto and you are trying to enable ETH

Both of these problems have been fixed in OPL 1740.


EDIT: OPL 1740 is out.
A few changes:
- Improve texture loading
- IGR & poweroff bug fixed
- allow BDM devices to be ejected and inserted

So far i am having a smoother experience. I had pratically no stuttering in Kingdom Hearts 2' FMVs now.
Talking about Kingdom Hearts 2, does anybody know if the NTSC J version (not Final Mix) works on OPL through SMB? Because I found a pretty cheap copy of japanese KH2 on Ebay. So I thought I could buy it, make a ISO backup of the DVD and run it through OPL (the DVD reader of my PS2 is dead)
 
OPL 1771 is out.

Simplified changelog:
- Fixed USBExtreme issue
- Added size calculation for USBExtreme games
- Fixed a creation of OPL folder on a memory card
- Add partition notification for HDD (shows which one is mounted)
- Clean up English language files, Removed unused strings and hardcode some that don't need translation

OPL v1.1.0 has been released!

New in OPL v1.1.0:

  • gcc 11 toolchain used for both EE and IOP
  • NBD server for transferring files over network
  • New USB mass storage driver
  • (experimental) i.LINK/IEEE1394/FireWire support
  • (experimental) MX4SIO support
  • internal HDD users now can change partition for storing settings.
  • HDD OSD users can use OPL with OPL Launcher
  • GUI settings reorganized and renamed

i tested an earlier opl v1.1.0-Beta-1633 and this version runs super dragon ball z usa and the twisted metal black prototype fine

strange the retail version of tmb seems to always freeze with all opl versions

It runs Super DBZ without any MODE? From wich device you tested?

I cannot find that version. Into the pack on MEGA, the oldest is beta 1697.

yes no modes. internal hard drive (ssd) with sata modded official network adaptor

tested retail tmb and still freezes in same quit game spot. also the street fighter alpha anthology prototype works fine, compared to the retail that only works on coldboot

I can't start games through ETH with this version. Can you verify if it's the same for you?
 
I'm kind of new, so i will ask:
-What's the difference between the opl beta releases? I see four of them.
