PS2 OPL Manager - Tool to manage your games! 24

I suppose I can translate some wishes into easy to implement structures, hehe!

Oooor... You join the PS2-Scene-Discord and the biggest Enthusiast and Devs in the Scene can help you out.

Hi I cant figure out how to delete games on OPL Managers latest build there doesnt seem to be an option to enable write operations, if I click on delete game nothing happens any help greatly appreciated

There's no option to enable write operations, it's always enabled, unless it's a mode that OPLM doesn't support deletion. Currently it doesn't delete UL games or internal HDD games, only in USB (iso/zso) and network share (iso/zso)

Hello!, as of now i cant get "OPL Manager" and "POPStarter Game Installer for OPL" to work together.

I changed to the latest version of OPL cuz it haves exFAT support and because it doesnt have a PS1 tab like DB version i'm starting to use the POPStarter installer for OPL.

OPL Manager changes the name of the VCD but not the .elf one so it can get recognized by opl. ¿couldnt this get fixed so its compatible with the POPStarter game installer?

Sorry for any grammatical errors its 8am haven't slept and english is not my native language.

POPStarter doesn't work with ExFAT to begin with.
Oh i didn't know that, as i said i only used OPL DB for POPStarter and i thought that if i updated to new OPL POPStarter would work with exFAT.
My bad.

Anyways, OPL Manager still changes the name of the vcd making the .elf open nothing.

There is a way to differentiate 2 games with the same ID for OPL to apply different covers??

For example, USA versions of Namco Museum (2001) and Namco Museum 50th anniversary edition (2005) are 2 different games (with different covers) that share the same ID.

No... The checksum of the main-ELF or of the full disc should be sufficient to identify it.

Differently named ISOs? IDK.

Obviously the games are named differently (namco museum and namco museum 50th anniversary edition) but the ID is the same (SLUS_202.73)

For that ID OPLM downloads cover arts for namco museum. I can manually create the right cover arts for the 50th anniversary edition, no problem but I'd have to name them i.e. SLUS_202.73_BG etc... so namco museum covers will be overwritten.

I think the only way is to change the game ID of one ot the two. I could make a fake ID with disk patcher 3.0 see if that works without problems. I can use the ID from PAL version of the game.

NBD server makes your PC think that the hdd is locally connected.
Meaning that there's no need to update anything on OPLM-Side

Hello @El_isra

I mean, HDL Batch Installer and PFS BatchKit Manager integrate Windows NBD client to facilitate connection with OPL's NBD server.

Actually, we need to install and configure a Windows NBD client separately and then connect to PS2 HDD through NBD protocol (with command lines) before getting ready to use OPL Manager, which is not very easy.

It was just a suggestion ;)

There's an error on redump.org (and thus also on OPLM) about Urban Chaos SLUS_010.19

They mispelled the ID here: redump.org • Urban Chaos switching 19 to 91. The MD5 is correct.

I noticed it because OPLM downloaded the cover arts for Threads of Fate

EDIT:
Also Strider SLUS_011.42 has wrong cover arts (whoever uploaded the covers, putted the Strider 2 ones).

Hi,
But the ART is correct right?
SLUS_010.19 has threads of fire art,
SLUS_010.91 has urban chaos art
OPLM only has a link to redump for convenience, i don't use the game title from redump.

About SLUS_011.42, indeed they are incorrect, feel free to report the existing arts and offer replacements if you have them
