PS2 OPL not showing ART (SOLVED)

OPL was working grate, untill today I copied (via launchelf) some box art from the USB to the internal HDD.
I noticed that the copying process started but but dind't go on, stuck on 0kb moved.

So after some time, I decided to turn off my ps2. And now, each time I turn on my PS2, OPL is stuck in a neverending loading, without bringme to the game list.

How can I solve?

EDIT: I deleted the OPL conf file, I also updated OPL to the latest beta version, and now OPL boot without problems.
But the issue now is that it doesn't load the game's ART. All my cover arts are in the ART folder in the OPL+ folder in the internal HDD. All the art was working untill today with this issue, now, all the arts are in the right place, I turn on "cover art" on OPL, but doesn't load them.... why? Did I corrupted the ART folder?

EDIT 2 : I deleted the ART folder on the internal HDD, I downloaded all the art again on my pc, and moved all of them in a new ART folder via USB to the internal HDD. Still no art is showing, why?

The ART folder is named "ART" not "art" right?
Did you use OPL Manager? It should generate the ART folder (and other folders like DVD, CD, etc.) for you.
OPL Manager should have named the art files correctly too.
Check if the OPL enable cover art setting is still enabled, something might have reset it.
Or try disabling it and enabling it again.
Try a different theme (or default OPL theme) and see if the game art loads.
Someone online said they removed their controller and game art loaded. o_O

I think the directory is
hdd0:/+OPL/ART/
with the correctly named png and jpg art files inside.
I think there's a file called games.bin in the +OPL folder,
I wonder if it got corrupted?

I think I had a similar problem but with an MX4SIO card instead of HDD.
It stopped showing the games list, so I turned off MX4SIO in the settings, pressed save, removed and inserted again the MX4SIO, enabled MX4SIO again and it showed the games list.
But then the game art wasn't loading.
I think it was either the THM or ART folder (I forgot which) that had something corrupt or a file not supposed to be
in there.
So I emptied the THM or ART folder and copied the correct files back,
making sure only files that are supposed to be in there are pasted.
Not config files.
Problem gone.

If you want to try this with HDD,
the art files would instead be copied using uLaunchELF and a USB.
And no need to remove the HDD, you could just go to settings
and make it so you can load the HDD manually, I think it might work the same.
This might reset something, just an idea.
You can set it back to auto later if you want.
Of course, if you do want to remove the HDD, make sure the PS2 is not getting any power
or it risks frying the PS2, I've heard.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes, the folder is named ART and not art. I generated the folder with all the art inside using HDL-Batch-installer v3.6.0(revision 2), witch is a PS2 HD manager, and yes, it can download all the art for the game installed in the PS2 HDD.

Basically I deleted the old ART folder in hdd0:/+OPL/ART/ and I replaced using a USB HD with the newly generated ART folder. But still no art.
In diplay setting in OPL, I turn on the "display art" setting, I also tried, as you said to turn it off and on again. Nothing.
I tried differents many different themes on OPL, and no art showing.

I'll try this stuff of removing the controller, at this point I try everything.
I'll try to delete the games.bin and the stuff in the THM folder.

EDIT: Nothing: I deleted the games.bin file, I deleted all the THM folder content, I added new themes in the THM folder, and none of them show covert art. I disabled again cover art and turned on again and again. My OPL doesn't want to show any art. This is a mistery

Yeah that is strange.
The games work fine but not the art.
And you don't have anything connected to the PS2 USB ports.
Is there any difference if you swap which slot your Free McBoot memory card is inserted in?

In uLaunchELF I noticed there's an OPL folder in my Free McBoot memory card.
You could try emptying it (maybe back it up to a USB first if you're worried about losing OPL settings or something).

One more idea I have is if you want to,
you could try getting an empty USB and copy
one or two games and their art specifically using OPL Manager on PC.
If cover art shows on the USB in OPL, maybe it means the HDD game art files have not been named correctly.
In that case, OPL Manager might be the solution or find a guide that shows how to name them manually if you prefer that.
For example: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-art-images-in-opl-via-usb.41611/
Although using OPL Manager is a lot easier. ;)

Someone seems to have had a similar problem, currently unresolved:

SOLVED :D

As you said, basically I was having the free mcboot memory card with his own OPL inside. Just by removing this memory card, starting directly OPL from the HDD, all the ART is showing.
Before I never had this problem, Keeping both the OPL memory card and th HDD.

Good to know thanks :D

I think you can add solved to the title of the thread with thread tools or something, when editing.
