PS2 OPL PS2 with Matrix Loading Problem

Good day to y'all. I am in need of assistance.

I recently purchased a PS2 with in-built OPL with Matrix and USB Flash Drive port to which I got some games that work well. Here comes my second purchase of a 64GB Multilaser USB Flash Drive to which I follow the process of adding games (Guiformat, USB UTIL and OPL Manager), a process that I have followed earlier with a 8GB USB Flash Drive of my own, and add SotC, RE4, SH3, GoW2, just to name a few. I make sure the format is FAT32 per instructions, add the games that I can without USB Util and use USB Util for those that are on the heavy side, run OPL Manager to get everything done.

When I go to my PS2 to run this bad boy it works just fine on a first use basis, but when I turn it off and on, you know, cuz I have things to do besides playing games, it doesn't load, and what it does depends on whether the USB Flash Drive is already connected or not. If it is then it gets stuck on the OPL PS2 logo screen with the PS loading icon on the bottom right blinking constantly until the heatdeath of the universe, AND if it isn't connected and I plug it in AFTER it loads it either shows the loading icon or not, regardless the games don't show up.

I find it interesting because if it really were an issue of the procedure I would assume it wouldn't even work once. But no matter how many times I redo the process, reformat my USB Flash Drive, port the games into it, save it and THEN try it on the PS2, it ALWAYS fails AFTER the 2nd time I use it.

So to avoid burning money on stuff that I might not be able to use is that I come here asking for help. There must be something I'm missing, a little detail that I haven't noticed, which I'm hoping some of you might be able to come up with.

"a PS2 with in-built OPL"
There's no such thing.
Describe exactly what you got with the console and the contents of every storage device, including the MCs.

I have purchased a PS2 that comes with two USB ports, one memory card and one PS2 joystick. When turned on this PS2 launches OPL showing a logo, see below for image, and a menu showing all the games contained within the plugged USB drive. These games can be launched by selecting them with X on the controller.

I'm not sure what MC stands for so I cannot provide info on that. I ask for a definition and patience since English isn't my first language.

MC means Memory Card

The OPL version you're using is an unofficial fork known for it's multiple bugs.

Try another pendrive. Multilaser is a known seller of counterfeit devices. Many of the drives they sell are fakely sized.
I recommend you Kingston or SanDisk drives.

Good to know. And it also makes sense because I have a Kingston pendrive that never gave me trouble playing games. Thank you for the advice, I hope this issue will end now.
