PS2 OPL Question

Initial question, what version of OPL is PFSBM catering to?

I bought a ps2 mem card already setup with freemcboot. It came with OPL v1.1.0 and OPL 10th anniversary. Messing around with it I see 10th anniversary uses +OPL dir and v1.1.0 uses __common/OPL.
1.1.0 displays all the ps1 VCD files in apps as does 10th anniversary if I copy the folder with the game elf in its dir. However, 10th anniversary OPL has a section called PS1 Games. What folder structure does it look for so they display under PS1 Games?
I have a 2TB HDD with adapter in a fat ps2. Formatted with PFSBM and used it to install the games/art, I'm just unsure what exact version OPL it's catering to. Given 1.1.0 loads all the games under APPS it seems to be compatible but artwork for all games are under __common/OPL/ART but not a single image displays on either version.
If at all possible I'd like the ps1 games to load under the PS1 Games section with artwork on OPL 10th anniversary. If I need a completely different version and to stick with the APPS folder it'll do given artwork displays. I'm just not the biggest fan of using the APPS folder.

Any help is seriously appreciated.

That "anniversary" edition isn't OPL but OPL DB. Buggy, bad and ancient fork.

Thanks for the reply.

I thought the apps on the memory card seemed kinda dated. I had to update the snes emulator to have the option of running roms from the hdd.

Is there an OPL with a ps1 section or is apps folder the only option?

Does OPL v1.1.0 look for VCD artwork in the same folder as ps2 art? Like __common/OPL/ART?

OPL never have "PS1" category, because never have integrated POPStarter. Never will too.

So yeah, APPS category is what you can use to set POPstarter(s). And ART is used commonly to games and apps with same same rule (i.e "<executable name>_COV.png" for disc box cover).

OPL resource partition is determined in "hdd0:/__common/OPL/conf_hdd.cfg". Since 1.1.0. Older seeks always "hdd0:/+OPL".

Thank you once again for helping!

One more time and I'll stop bothering you.

I have over 600 VCD files in __.POPS/
__common/OPL/APPS/ contains folders with elf and title.cfg files so all 600+ display under apps when you run OPL.
__common/OPL/ART/ contains all the artwork.

SCUS_XXX.XX.Filename.VCD
SCUS_XXX.XX.Filename.ELF
SCUS_XXX.XX.Filename.ELF_COV.PNG

No artwork loads in OPL v1.1.0

Am I missing something?

But should. Pattern you presented is fine:
Code:
hdd0:/__common/OPL/ART/SCUS_XXX.XX.Filename.ELF_COV.png

I'm at a loss then. Given OPL v1.1.0 was already on the memory card I downloaded OPL v1.1.0 official to make sure. Still didnt load artwork.
