PS2 OPL Transparent/Clear/Invisible Text?

PHS

Forum Noob
I'm wondering if it's at all possible to make the text overlay displaying the games on my HDD invisible, so I can see the BG background art exclusively? I don't know much about using "themes" so if it's possible using that, I'm unsure of.

I would add that what I'm really after, is the ability to see only the Wallpaper background. With the option to turn off all the overlays, COV cover art, the game ID, ex. SLUS, SCUS, etc, and the HDD icon display. So that I can use up and down to scroll through the assigned BG background images to choose my game of choice.

I'm not really sure if I understand (You want only see game covers, background and media? literally nothing else). Could You send some example/preview what You want to achieve?

Both backgrounds can be transparent but to fit all graphics in VRAM, they needs to be in 4bits (16 colours, including indexed colours so transparent is possible). You can "disable" all graphic elements by making them empty. However, GameID cannot be invisible as far as I know because there is no option to disabling it and You need changes in code to not show it. The same with game list.

In a nutshell, I want to be able to see only the background art and when pressing UP or DOWN to cycle games, the art changes as well, i.e. everything, or as much as possible, invisible. This is for OPL 0.9.3 though. I only just checked out 1.0.0 a few days ago. This could also apply to the 1.0.0 "info" page. If everything could be hidden that overlays the background image. And not have the background image sort of faded or opaque but full color.

Not possible. There is no way in theme system to set game info background as game cover, and put it on whole screen. Along with other things which I mentioned in earlier post.
