I broke the pins of the optical reader on my PS3 super slim and I would appreciate some help in fixing my mess.
I live in Asia so my options are limited, buy another PS3 for 100$(which I don't have) or have a amateur computer repair man solder the pins back in place.
When I broke it there were only three, double pronged pins in the white connector, but there are 7 slots.
Are there supposed to be more pins?
Which orientation do the pins get soldered and which holes do they go into inside the white cap?
I have pictures of the motherboard, pins and connector but I'm still figuring out how to add them here
