I It is still not reading disks

Does she used to read disks before you tear her down?
Does she refuse to read any type (Blu-ray, DVD, CD) of disk?
Probably the problem with reading disks is that the black flat cable is not installed correctly, rather than the optical pickup.

It didn't read disks when I got it, so I don't know.
The black ribbon from the disk drive is bent and torn up pretty good though.
The only disks I have to try it is Skyrim and gtaV and theu are both Blu ray.
Should I try to find a DVD or cd and check that? And then replace the black ribbon before anything else?
