Only if @Joonie @esc0rtd3w @habib add gameboot patches to PS3HEN.BIN to patch in RAM cause run unofficial signed sprx will softbrick your ps3

Does not need the patched sprx at all to trigger the gameboot, It can be triggered soley from the RCO for HAN and HEN users. So no need for RAM patches to be applied as it will work without HEN enbaled.

I have triggered it on HEN with just a moddified RCO file on HEN v2.3.1 with and without HEN enabled..... so there is no need for the patched SPRX on HEN, or CFW for that matter, it just easier to use the SPRX on CFW.

I'm just waiting for the HEN to have compatibility with this wonderful mod.:pride:

Have successfully triggered the gameboot on HEN without the SPRX file, sorry it's taken so long but I only put HEN on my super slim 2days ago.

Will be making a new resource for HEN users when am satisfied with the way it works. Does not require HEN to be enabled either so will work for anyone who still use's HAN.

I think for gameboot audio you need an sprx patch, the gameboot logo works with just rco patch. I could be wrong.

At least on CFW i think there was an sprx patch, not sure what it did TBh.

I would have to look in IDA to what the patch does on CFW, cannot remember off the top of my head and I have no idea where my notes have gone on it.

No theres no audio on it atm on HEN, this is one thing am not sure if can be done wihtout the SPRX. This is why I said I would release it when I was satisfied with. It might just be the gameboot with the animation but it's better than nothing lol.

As i and @DeViL303 say patch to be added in RAM for the animation and sound ,i know i have already on HEN but i talk about makin it with audio and animation like on CFW thats why and the patches in cfw is in game_ext_plugin.sprx and rco is custom_render_plugin.rco

Animatition does NOT require a RAM Patch... In know perectly well where the patches are as this is my work here.

And the audio may not require a patch.... if you bethoerd to read anything I already said it may or may not be possible with the audio... don't need a parrot on here repeating the same crap when one part of what you have said in earlier posts has already been proven wrong ...

You get an A* for stating the obvious, this is where they are and are controlled from in 2.80 OFW. And guess what haven't changed in all the other FW versions either.

Custom render plugin.rco used to control the old coldboot as well before it was changed to a raf file... fun fact the image is till in the RCO.

Just becuase you been told to stop premoting your YT channel with vids on JB when the user was told to follow the offical instructions and you completely ignored this to premote your YT channel, don't have a go and take it out on others mate.
 
Yes i know the official patch removed after 2.80 and they restor it with hex to edit,audio require a patch to be done see in @pinky tuto and he himself can tell that

You don't give up do you.... I have the gameboot on my superlim with no sound at the min, HEN does not need to be enabled for it to work, as I am not sure it the sound can be done yet.

You modify the main XML that controls the RCO. Not everything on the xmb is done with the sprxs. If you put my RCO from here on a HEN system it will not work as nothing has been done to it> the CFW version is all from the SPRX, but I have just found out that you dont need the sprx for the animation as they can be controlled form the RCO like many other animations on the XMB are controlled from. I don't know why I didn't think of this in the first place as I already knew this about the RCO's......

i didn't modify the xml that controll the RCO on CFW i only put my image in rco and patch the sprx to enable the gameboot audio on HEN i only put RCO and the animation in HEN is faster compared in CFW ,in CFW i see that the logo take about 4 5 second to complete animation and enter app in HEN it is 2 or 3 seconds to play the animation then launch the app

You can change all that if you really wanted to, make it longer or shorter, its your prefernce, again this can be done from the main rco xml when you use something like RCO mage to take it apart. I just left them at default values as they are good enough.

me too i didn't change the timing same rco i use on both CFW and HEN
 
Well, the way it works is the rco asks the sprx to run some animations that are predefined inside it, is what you can see under the <animTree> if i remember right

The rco is not checked for security... so in HEN you can modify it and make it load different animations from the official .sprx ...or you can change the timing of the animations a bit, and other effects

There are different ways to create that animations @Louay maybe you tested some rco files that was made by someone using a method, but we dont know exactly what @Cypher_CG89 was doing

What is not going to work in HEN is the gameboot animation sounds though... i guess this ones requires a patch in the .sprx
 
You can load all this animations btw... this names are hardcoded inside the official custom_render_plugin.sprx
If you decrypt it (with scetool) and take a look at it in a hexadecimal editor you will find them

Every one of them is an small sequence of the animation... we dont know the exact purpose of all them and how everyone of them looks... but the point is you are free to load all them

What is not going to work in HEN is the gameboot animation sounds though... i guess this ones requires a patch in the .sprx

My hopes are not high to find away around this but am still going to have a good try at it before I give up with the sounds.
