PS3 Other PS3 forums?

Looking for other forums PlayStation forums that could use for help on CFW app help. I'd ask here but I think it's frowned upon. Are there other forums regarding more sensitive subjects?

He is not complaining at all. He just asked about other forums that have more freedom when it comes to certain topics
To the OP, just try reddit or 4chan /vg/ board search for homebrew thread.

I don't think other forums will be any different. every post I make no matter where no-one even bothers replying when I'm trying to get help on a problem. People are selfish everywhere, they only care if they are the ones experiencing the problem. Otherwise no-one helps anyone. It really really sucks. And the people who put out the homebrew software should have some form of help available as they made it so complicated and buggy that it never ever works as it should in my experience. It also stuffs up or there is some kind of error. My whole system got screwed up completely just because I tried to update to the latest HEN and no-one even bothers to reply to my thread asking for help. So the internet is completely pointless in asking for help, people only care about stupid shit like memes or paying people out or bragging about themselves. Shit like that. When it comes to helping your fellow man, nobody cares.

I would not say I'm complaining at all. I'm just trying to be very careful of the guidelines and I don't want to get banned. I was just having issues with my CFW and I was being cautious is all.

If you need me to take this post down, just let me know (assuming I can take it down myself). Otherwise I'll keep it up, just in case.

"Frowned upon" means "to disapprove of something", which it's not the case here on the forums unless you break the rules. Posting against the rules only harms the forums, and that happens everywhere: reddit, discord, etc.

That's curious, I don't see any post from YOU asking anything about your specific "HEN problem". Also, if you don't like the homebrew available, take the code and modify it to fit your needs (that's the community for). Or even better, develop your own piece of software and release it for free.

Just don't complain when people make comments about your software.

As I've said before, people will be helped if they ask for. Help will be provided when and if other members can help. If you want help, be helpful to other fellow members.

.So, a mod just closed a thread after someone just asked a simple question that dpesn't break the rules., the guy was told by the admin that he was complaining, which didn't happen at all in his initial post

The other user just wanted help and made a stated a fact about this forum which is not a complain, he didn't even said anything negative about this place
Lately the forum has changed for the worse for some reason, even though there is no spam like in other forums like gbatemp which gets spam daily

All the time, people ask a legit question mixed with some complain about the forums, adding up to the drama. And other people get into it, adding more and more drama, crying, complaining, deviating on purpose from the main question in the thread (and impairing only the original poster becuase his problem is buried under a ton of useless posts).

And don't make false acusations, no mod nor admin insulted you nor any other forum member.

Stop being your username and maybe try your original account.

I merged the thread you made, i figured we see how what you said about this thread and reality differ.

Perhaps we get less spam because we take various measure to curb, Also we are starting to be a bit more proactive on the user's that have to much free time and not enough patients and create multiple accounts making them very selfish user's to get attention on their needs/wants only.

I use want to say for the record that I had no intention of starting drama and causing/making a thread like this. I hope to post more "professional"/appropriate posts such as my syscon posts. As and power systems engineer, I hope to stay professional and be a helpful part of the community in any way that I can.

Side note: I enjoy working in the S-domin or the z-domain, if anyone has transfer function work, I'd love to take a look.

You posted things then complained about nobody responding after 5 minutes.

You could have at least done some researched - why were you trying to downgrade to 4.86 OFW after updating to 4.91

You said your PS3 was bricked because HEN wouldn't install. First off your system was functioning perfectly fine. Second off you were on 4.91 not 4.92.. at least update your system software.

Look I really dont want to bash on you - I would have panicked too if I didn't know, but at least show some patience
