PS3 PKG larger than 4GB han v3

Hello everyone. I know that I can transfer 4gb+ pkg files with pkg linker but to be faster can I just connect the hdd of the ps3 to the computer and then copy-paste it ( I mean with an adapter) and then install it from the ps3? Does the file system of the internal hdd let me to do that?(it's fat32 or ntfs?) I use a ps3 super slim expandible with an hard drive.

You will kill your current PS3 filesystem by connecting HDD to PC. Is encrypted UFS2, not fat32, or ntfs. Afaik.

Unfortunately pkg linker is the fastest way we have found to install pkg's over 4gb.
I think you could use backup injection to copy the pkg to ps3's hdd and then install them from "install packages from hdd". This will be slower and more of a pain than pkg linker.
Another way would be to write some rop to copy and merge split packages from the usb to the hdd to be installed. The problems with this is you have to split the pkg, write a new rop for each pkg and host the rop page so you're still using the network.

Those are just a few ideas that I've not tried.

No u can't ps3 in not fat32 or ntfs and it's root encrypt with key and there is gui in ps3 aldo's tools program that use to view file in ps3 but require root key u can dump that key only in ps3 cfw not super slim han so forget it on super slim han sorry to say that pkg linker only way to copy files over than 4 g.b

Sounds very complicated. I'll use pkg linker as soon as a fastest way will come out.

Ok I will use pkg linker :D

I've tried to think of different ways to do it and have some ideas for a background downloader but I would need help with the rop to make something.

What about make function with rop to copy directory instead of download pkg and then install it it take more time time for download and time to install i think it can work but i didn't any thing in rop i am c++ devloper or using rop function to copy pkg to ps3 hdd and append pkg parts and install it from ps3 hdd hope to get another methods to work with pkg over than +4 g.b in usb hdd

From what I understand we can't really copy a directory with rop you have to do it file by file. Someone could make something to copy and merge pkg parts to the ps3's hdd with rop it would need to be made for each pkg so doing it by hand would be a pain.
I don't know enough about the rop to do it if I had an example I could probably make something to automate it some.

We hope to find some one expert in rop to write simple function to copy pkg file to ps3 hdd and merge rest parts to that pkg and install it from package manager .

@pink1 We can make same html file like a
http://**ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new)/han/actrif_copier.html
To copy pkg file to ps3 local hdd by using same code on that html but edit function rif to pkg but how we can append file parts

Those files are a little different because they are always the same size so that doesn't need to be set manually. I'm not sure if we would need a complete different chain to append the file or if it would just need a small change instead of overwriting it. We have the rop tutorial here that could be a great place for someone to start looking into it. I've played with the examples when they first started but not enough to do anything myself.

Actually the fastest way is to do a direct connect with Ethernet from PC to PS3 and then use pkg linker... You'll get up to 1 gbps depending on the kind of Ethernet you have

If you disconnect you HDD drive from your PS3 and connect it to computer,The PS3 will say you to format the drive when it will be connected back to PS3.If you don't want to use Pkg Linker then you can ftp your large pkg files.
