If you have a download manager. Stop it temporarily. And download with browser and see..
Hey! The dropbox link isn't working and when I try to download using the mirror, the download just fails. Can someone help me?

PLZ HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Can't help you if you can't understand what I'm saying ...

It's suggested to enable HAN only without debug. But you didn't seem to understand that [emoji848]

No disrespect. But at least . use a translator

Managed to download it on my phone, don't know why mozilla can't download it...

thanks for the answer.

the reason i ask is because i used cfw extra category istaller.pkg by @DeViL303
but HAN toolbox disapeared from XMB

both tools are extremely helpful, could be cool if those tools were together in one installer someday.

thanks!!
Always happy to help a PSX-Place Supporter anytime I can :)

If I'm not mistaken Rebug now has the category_game.xml already edited to work with pkg linker or a package_link.xml off of the usb. I haven't tested it myself & am just going from my memory of the release notes.

We didn't think that CFW users would be interested in using these tools so we so we just focused on HAN. @DeViL303 made HAN toolbox while we were working on this. He was just being nice when he put my name on it too. I'm sure he'll see this and can give you an answer about the two tools in one.

When I scan for packages pkg linker 2.0 exe does not list them (like the video shows) and just stays blank. I even tried to check on my ps3. I can connect to the webserver just fine but again doesn't display any packages for me to install.

Anyone else have this issue? How do I fix? Running Windows 10.

Well poo. I'll check it out I'm sure it's something silly I've done. I'm not around my computer now I'll try to get something today though.

Hi Pink1.

Just signed up and I'd like to give a big thanks to all the Dev's on here who have freely given their time and expertise to creating the exploit and all of these tools for us plebs to greatly benefit from. I've been waiting a long time for this since my little bro updated the firmware on my PS3 all those years ago before I had a chance to mod it ;).

Anyway. I also had the same problem with PS1 pkg's not showing when re-scanning on 2.0, only the rap/rif file. So I have tried your test build and while it does re-scan correctly and show both pkg's, when I try to install on the PS3 only 1 pkg is showing up. It displays the actual game pkg file with the icon and correct size is reported but when I install it is only 5kb and is clearly just the rap file.

Strangely though when I try installing the same package from the usb it just says please wait for about 5~ minutes and then goes back to the previous screen where you select the package to install.

When I first installed HAN, the first thing's I tried installing were Final Fantasy VII (using USB method) and Sky Odyssey (PS2, also from USB). Both worked perfectly so if you have any insight that would be greatly appreciated. I have tried (about 5 times now G-Police, and Crash Bandicoot (both ps1) and am getting the same behavior with both. . .nothing).

@Shellz First thanks for the kind words.
I want to be sure I totally understand everything before we get started.

I'm a little confused here. Does the pkg not work when installing from the usb? If not I think it's a problem with the pkg if it does install and work then we have a problem with pkg linker that I'd like to try and get fixed.

That sounds like what happens when the bubbles are being created, that happens for some pkg types, you just get "please wait" and then nothing. but If you go into playstation network content in package manager you should find a bubble, click on that and it will finish installing.

P.S. Make sure you have updated the package list by installing a new pkg list pkg and rebooting, since installing the test build that detects ps1 etc.

Thanks for the response pink1, I appreciate it, and the awesome tool!
It appears that DeViL303 was on point with his assumption. The package was working correctly when the bubble was installed from the PSN content folder. Today I tested MGS (ps1) with both 2.0 and the test build, and while the test build does show both pkg's in the GUI they would both only show the rif file on the PS3. I tried copying package list from the test build to 2.0 also and had the same result.

Strangely, Crash Bandicoot shows the icon and NPEE00001 [Retail] 461.2mb (had to make sure I wasn't imagining this yesterday), but when you go to install it, it is only 5kb. If you need me to do any testing or there is anything else I can do i'd be glad to help. Cheers!

You legend! That was exactly the issue mate, cheers for the heads up. Funnily enough I checked in that folder yesterday and saw quite a few duplicates, obviously from my multiple attempts at installing but didn't put 2+2 together as to what I was looking at and didn't want to touch anything in case I broke something :S. Would never have figured this out without this little hint as it wasn't required with the FF7 pkg that I installed.

Now set for a day of nostalgia checking out some old SNES/MegaDrive fav's (a big thanks for your work on that front ;).

Cheers guys!

P.S. . . Am I mistaken in thinking you cannot rename the package files after signing them? I'm installing one at a time so I don't forget what goes with what, being as they are just long random strings of numbers and letters. . .

How can I install Packages files from webserver on a CFW?

I am sure this has been answered before. But I couldn't find an answer. Everything is focused on using HAN Toolbox, but I don't have it because I have CFW

Hi, I'm followed the guide for direct wired connection between ps3 and pc but everytime i try to start the server it says "Apache failed to start." How do I solve this?

HAN toolbox is a standalone PKG you can install in any CFW.
and then continue with the steps in post 1

and the answr is right above you....post 509.

you can modify your category_game.xml. how to do it is right here.
