PKG Linker 2.0 - Serve Packages to your PS3 (HAN/CFW)

PS3 PKG Linker 2.0 - Serve Packages to your PS3 (HAN/CFW) v2.0

since we have hen, you can use either ftp or ps3netsrv via net0/pkg mounting

net0 mounting is probably much faster (well kinda) since it will install the pkg right away instead of downloading and installing it (requiring it to have a free disk space double of the pkg size).

the only issue with net0 is its slow, compared to pkg2link or ftp transfer speeds.

Hi, please can somebody help me because a cannot run games more than 4 gb.
I followed all the instructions,
the game is installed but don't run
if I install a game smaller than 4 gb everything goes well.

I mean, you could unpack the PKG and ftp it to the hdd0/game folder. Then create a dumb pkg of the game (everything inside the games folder + only the eboot inside the USRDIR folder. ftping the game files wont make it appear in the xmb, so thats why you create this smaller pkg. Install the pkg and you'll have your game ready to play.

just use robocopy to create a pkg of the PARAM.SFO, install, play game.

Code:
robocopy "source directory" "destination directory" /E *PARAM.SFO

just create a pkg of the PARAM.SFO and it will work.

Is it there an alternative to Linux?
My only possession that resembles a PC is a raspberry pi 3.
With it I've been able to download and transfer over ftp all games I've downloaded this far, cfw games, PKG games, games downloaded over torrent, under split rar compression.
So yeah, very complete machine for interfacing with a hacked PS3.
However, I'm trying to ftp a PKG of 18gb and I'm getting a timeout, so I remembered of PKG linker.
Is there a way to use this under Linux?

Try to use filezilla instead of PKG Linker. Make sure that you have webmanmod or multiman installed.

A mono rebuild should be sufficient

Will have a look at this in the next few days

Sorry I perhaps failed to express correctly.
I've been using ftp thus far for everything.
And on this one package, I'm getting an error in ftp (I use filezilla as ftp client).
So that's why I need another solution.

Thanks!!
My machine runs armhf code.
Raspbian 10.

Right now I'm trying ncftp (command line ftp client) seems to be transferring all right.
Thus far 4gb out of the 18gb @11MB/s

In filezilla the transfer halts at the first GB or so.
So perhaps this gonna work

Yep, no good.
The transfer halted close to 5GB.
Idk if this is some limitation on the ftp server from Webman or if the 1gb of ram from the pi3, or maybe is it ftp itself that can't handle more than 4GB, although pretty sure I transferred larger files already (or maybe not and I'm just tripping).
Client limitation doesn't seem likely because I tried 2 clients already.

We started looking at making something for the raspberry but didn't go very far with it.
From what I remember we were using the cmd version of pkg linker and setting up a server on the raspberry. We had a thread about it here somewhere but it's been over a year ago.

Well since I can't figure this out by myself and @The Darkprogramer told his gonna take a look along the week, I'm gonna just stand by.
Thanks!

Oh I'm gonna take a look, see if I can get it running

Hm there's no compiled binaries for it, I don't know how to compile.

This seems for windows as It have some exe files in it, idk thou.

Wait, yours too have exe files.
Are those for Linux?
I didn't knew Linux could run exe files.
Or I'm missing something?
It's built with mono so it can run on Linux and windows. You'll need to have mono installed for it to work.

But why pkg linker? I mean there are ftp solutions now
