PS3 PKG Linker 2.0 - Serve Packages to your PS3 (HAN/CFW) v2.0

Try using openps3ftp it's much more stable than most ftp apps

More than Webman's ?

It's built with mono so it can run on Linux and windows. You'll need to have mono installed for it to work.
it didnt worked, and i dont know how to understand the error to figure out why.

hmm I think it will not make much of a difference

This is a standalone utility but this code is used in various projects in the PS3 scene such as webMAN / Mod, Irisman, multiMAN, Rebug Toolbox and others..

I've never had those issues (im using direct connection via cat6 Ethernet Cable) also IP is set as manual, not DHCP

It's on GitHub with the exe. You'll need the bin folder and everything in it. I don't remember much about it so you'll probably need to read the thread I posted to see what all we had to do to get it working.

Well, then idk.
I just git clone the whole thing.
It should had come along don't it?

What if I just host an http server on the pi and make the PS3 go to the PKG file, won't it work?

I tried the webserver but apparently even at that I fail.
I mean, I installed nginx fine (tried with apache2 too but seemed more complicated than nginx) but I can't figure out how to change the root directory to the external drive where the 18gb file is, as I can't copy it to /html folder because the pi storage is small.
I might as well give up on life, can't do a single thing work.

Not all ps3 ftp servers are equal even though they might share some code. Try other ftp apps. Rebug toolbox is quite stable. Make sure to disable any other ftp plugins first.

AFAIK all ftp apps work on hen. Rebug toolbox will work anyway for ftp.
Oh I thought it was part of rebug cfw.
It's a standalone app or set of apps then?

However, I tested 3 ftps already.
I don't thing it will change the results.

I guess the timeout is being caused by your pi or network somehow then.. I don't think it's an issue with the ps3. I transferred lots of isos over 20gb with ftp.

Some tips here that you might be able to apply on your pi, not sure if they would help you.

If you still have no luck, there is also a way to install big pkgs from NTFS USB if you put the pkgs into an Iso file and mount it from NTFS external using a backup manager.

Yeah, standalone app. Lots of rebug toolbox features won't work on hen but ftp will work.

This worked nicely, or at least seems to be.
85% thus far.
Longest progress thus far in any scenario.

It transferred!
Freaking finally!!!

Nice one. I guess those tips don't just help with lots of small files.
Indeed, it even bumped up the speed a bit.
I purposefully ignored the speed limit tip.
Followed all the others.

Probably it would been even faster if I used host to host cable instead passing over the router.

Thanks !!

Will this tool split signed pkg's file. If so, how do i achieve that result.
By this tool or any other. Any suggestions is welcomed and awaited.

Hey, I'm experiencing issues with PKG Linker. I attempt to download files (one is 25 mb and one is 9 GB) and they each come up with the error 80710011. I have no clue what to do right now, it used to appear before when installing stuff from a USB Drive, but I fixed that.

Whenever i try do do anything from pkg_linker (including refresh package_list.pkg) it tells me it has to install software and then gives me error 80710092. I am on HEN 2.0.2 (yes i know i have to update but it gave me some trouble)
