8071053D usually means you arent being blocked which is a good sighn.You just need to make sure the pkg linker is reading your wired connection.

Did you set up your ipv4 protocol like it says in the instructions?

What error code are you getting?

Did you creat the ipv4 protocol adress on both your ps3 and pc like this?

You also have to be in wired mode in network settings on the ps3 with the han enabler on before launching the pkg linker program.Thays very important.

I see,diffrent setup.You got xampp working right,so you should be fine.

You must be using wifi, please read trouble shooting tab in first post , wifi is no good for this on ps3.

Test with known working pkgs, small ones so tests are quick. If they work then your issue is not related to this app.

When I start a game that I've installed with this method, and it says that a game update is available, can I download it and install it or do I have to find the pkg for it?

You can install it, but then, you won't be able to launch it untill you enable HAN enabler after every reboot

You can do either. If you connect directly you need to enter manual IPs like I explained in first post.

No all pkgs will work with this method, its just if the pkg you are testing with is not known to work , then if it fails with some random error, you will not know if it is your network setup or the pkg. If the pkg is signed correctly and not corrupt, built wrong etc, then it will always work with this.

Pc to ps3 is the best way with your pc's internet connection turned off.You also have to choose wired connection in the internet settings of your ps3 and set up ipv4 protocol

I find much easier just pc to ps3.. it kinda worked, but i made wired setup on ps3 resulting in no internet, therefore i can't enable HAN for the package list refresh.

If i make wireless on PS3, i guess the server will transfer in wi-fi to ps3.. which is bad..

The only way to refresh is manually via USB in this case?

There a few ways to do it. If you have wifi on your PC you can go to settings on the adaptor and share it, then your PS3 can share the PC wifi connection through the cable. There are bridging setups aswell, google "bridging network adaptors" and "internet connection sharing"

Also you can just use wifi on PS3 for HAN enabler, then connect with cable and install your pkgs, without rebooting. If you want to change list you will need to reboot, so have your list installed fist, before you switch to cable.
