Playing online with 4.84 HFW

Actually I'm curious about the risk of playing online with the new 4.84 HFW I saw some people saying it will get my PS3 and account banned, did anyone get banned before ?, I mean people used to say the same once HAN was released for older FW and it's all good nobody got banned

As far as i know the risks are the very same on 4.84 HFW as they were on 4.82 with the HAN support files installed. I have not heard of any bannings yet.

Let me rephrase your questions.

1. Is HAN safe to go online with those contents that are activated without the legit purchase history?

I do not think so.

2. Can / Will $ONY find out if I modded my PS3?

Yes they can but I doubt they will take any actions

3. Will I get banned eventually?

I think PSN will shutdown before you get banned first so most likely not.

4. is HAN w/ OFW(HFW) safer to go online than CFW is?

I think so if you use two accounts separated. for ex) You can activate two PSN accounts and use one for HAN activation and the other one for Online only so that way you can separate your app history.

Thanks guys appreciate the help, I've been using HAN since day one it was released to the public and so far so good, so why should I stop now I will use the online futures

So what ur saying is, if create an account where i use rap files to activate game and the other(for example my main one) to play online?
