PS3 Playing Online with CFW Playstation?

Oh and if you're on Dex you can just check both idps and psid boxes in webman mod so you don't have to open rebug toolbox at all. Just make sure the 82 in idps is set to 84.

You can do what you want, but as I said earlier installing the PSNpatch plugin would be better so you don't have to keep opening the app every time you want to play online. Webman mod deletes history/syscalls and cfw when pressing R2+triangle but if you have the PSNpatch plugin installed they both trigger with that button combo so it's a lot safer than anything else.
So You are saying that if i install PSN Patch plugin and Webman mod, buy Pressing R2+TRIANGLE , The PSN Patch Spoofs IDPS and PSID and disables CFW and at the same time webman deletes the history?

How is online with cfw these days? Is using psnpatch plugin enough ? I'm really after call of duty games, nothing else.

cod and gta are the ones that get the most bans. you need to research anti-ban eboots at the least if playing cod.

I've been banned twice so far (always patched using psnpatch, deleted all my homebrew apps etc..) but chaning idps helped me get online. I think my best option is just to get a clean unmodded console and those few games i like to play online.

Hello, I'm new to PS world, just got me a used PS3 a few days ago, and I'm a developer. IDK how hard it is to get a new valid console ID once you're banned from PSN, well I don't really know anything about this, but it sounds sad getting banned forever, so I was thinking...

Have developers considered creating a P2P ecosystem that serves as an alternative to PSN just for multiplayer gaming (IDK what other stuff PSN offers)? Maybe you could proxy PSN connections from games to this ecosystem. Maybe you could use the torrent network in order to avoid having to create or maintain any servers (the ones used to hold peer data so they can connect with each other, I assume).

Give it some thought? It might be a good way of disincentivizing Sony from banning people from their network, since people will have a goto which Sony could no longer control. It might even allow users to share user-created content for specific games, as in whatever modules one could buy off PSN (again I'm guessing here)? Who knows...
