PS3 Playing PS1 multi disc games on CFW

So I have CFW 4.90 Evilnat Cobra [CEX]. I have webMAN MOD and IRISMAN installed. I only use an internal HDD. I want to know how to play multi disc PS1 games on the PS3. Is there a way to combine the discs into one ISO? Or is there an option in either webMAN MOD or IRISMAN to swap discs when you have to? How does one go about playing PS1 multi disc games?

If you use webMAN MOD, the easier method to swap discs is this:
1- Mount the CUE/BIN of one the multi disc PS1 game (e.g. disc 1)
2- Start the game and play until the point it asks to swap the disc (e.g. disc 2).
3- Use a tablet, laptop or smartphone to mount the disc 2 from Chrome, Safari or any Internet browser:
http://IP-address-of-your-PS3/mount_ps3/dev_hdd0/PSXISO/name_of_game_disc_2.BIN
Replace the URL with the correct IP address and path of the 2nd disc.

/mount_ps3 is used instead of /mount.ps3 to skip the warning and force the game to be mounted.

Since you use Internal HDD there are a few options (like the one listed above by aldo), 1 Option would be to use Pop-fe which makes the ps1 game into a PS1 Classic so you can switch discs in-game,
OR
you can merge some games with multi disc into 1 disc (not sure if i can post links to them but you can google "PSX Disc Combining Kits")
OR
You can use Irisman to mount a game as a ISO then switch discs by just removing a USB drive or inserting one (you dont need the games on the USB, irisman has a function that when something is inserted into the USB drive when playing a PS1 game it will switch ISO to the next one providing its named correctly)

I just tried the Pop-fe idea by making the discs into one pkg file. Not the most ideal as I'd love to organize my XMB better. But it's definitely better than nothing. Thank you to all.

Aldo, I was wondering if some hotkey could be added to wMM for this disc swap, in case you don't have a way to connect.
Maybe something like Artemis, that you open XMB while in game and then hold start.
Could be like: while in game, open XMB, hold select+start (or any other combo available), then wMM loads then next xyzgame_N.bin, where N = 1,2,3,4,....,etc

If I recall correctly, in the ps1 emulator when PS button is pressed the combos are not detected by webMAN MOD.
So the way to switch is unpluging and pluging back an USB storage device like IRISMAN.

If the combos could be detected, the users could create their own custom combos to mount the discs or use SELECT+L1 / SELECT+R1 to cycle the previous mounted games.

oh, I had my suspicion about the XMB controls being hijacked by the emulator. I guess you confirmed my fear !
anyways I think the usb and the web-server options are still great options to swap discs when needed. :)
