PS3 PlayStation Home Revival Events @ Home Laboratory

These community events on Home Lab are just casual meet ups where everyone is welcome to come hang out, chat, play minigames etc. It also allows us to stress test the server infrastructure and/or showcase new scenes and features.

So even if you never played Home before, or you would just like to try it out again, come join us, you might be surprised how well this game stands up in 2025!


To get the game client installed on PS3:

1. If you are on 4.92 Evilnat CFW or 4.92 HEN, You can simply download the Home Lab QA pkg from the PSN category on the XMB. That built in pkg link uses NPIA00005 and the game will show up in the PSN category after download and install.
2. For manual install via package manager (For example for older FW) you can download the latest pkg HERE. This manual install pkg uses PSHLQA186 title id and will show up in the game category. This can also be useful if you have other Home clients already using NPIA00005 and want to have both installed alongside each other.

Note: If you find you already have the original Home Client installed on your console you might have important cache data that could help with preserving this game. More info on cache HERE


To get the game client installed on PC (RPCS3):

1. Install the latest RPCS3 emulator application which you can get HERE. There are many tutorials available on the net for getting the emulator setup.
2. Download the RPCS3 specific pkg HERE and install it. In RPCS3, go to File → Install Packages/Raps/Edats and select the PKG. This pkg uses the title ID PSHLQA186 so will not interfere with any other Home clients you might have installed previously.

Note: This pkg is almost the almost same as the PS3 pkg except for it has MLAA disabled as that RSX feature is not supported in the emulator. If you do install the PS3 pkg on RPCS3 by mistake you will get major graphical glitches.
