PS3 HAN Playstation Menu icons not loading when using a game with HAN.

It's not a major problem just a minor annoyance but I wanna try fixing it, it just that I don't know how, so the problem is that when I'm playing a PS3 game with HAN and I press the PS button to bring up the home menu to let's say close the game, the icons just don't load, they just stay there buffering forever. Like I said, it's not a major problem because I can just hold the PS button to close the game but I wanna know if there is a fix to this.

because the hdd is busy running the game and ps3 has a low ram. ( could be wrong )

so. if you rearranged ps3 games in folders this will happen.

some low games like minecraft does show the icons..

just do not rearrange the games. and let it in chaos. lol

Oh hey it actually worked not rearranging the games lol, but it looks so messy though! Well at least it's something! Thanks! xD

There's a post here somewhere with a link to a modified game_catagories.xml that can be copied over with ps3xploit to remove these...
I cant remember where this is though... I think one of the ps3xploit devs posted it.. Wish I could help/remember where this was posted

Well, let's hope someone else remembers, it would be nice to try that out.

A quick fix is to press left to load the other section which is video on the xmb,then switch back to game.It will load the icons then.

Sorry for the late response! The category_xml from that thread fixed my issue, thank you everyone for the help!

i have a similar issue on my 4.89hfw Hen3.2.2 sliim the in-game xmb after pressing the ps button the main icons of "video, music,game etc..." show white boxes instead of the icons does anyone know how to fix this?

UPDATE: Figured it out turns out the "explore_category_****.rco" were corrupt replaced them with the originals from the same version everything seems functional no more white squares in-game xmb
