PS3 Pop-fe a utility to create PSX Classics packages for PS3 v1.16

I think this question might be a bit silly but... Is there a way to use the program offline?. I can only use it online, if I go offline I can't convert my EBOOTs and the program crashes.
Same problem here, it seems that the program has this problem of only working with an internet connection, without it the program always crashes, probably a BUG.

How can i change the resolution in pop-fe-ps3 from NTSC "1" and PAL "2" to 16:9, NTSC "16" and PAL "32"?
In the Master there is a file called pop-fe-ps3.py where i can edited it, but in the windows release there is no such file.
I would like to use pop-fe-ps3 and not the commandline version of pop-fe.
Thank you!

edit:
Maybe we can get an option in Pop-fe to select the resolution?

Does anyone know what the Enable swap-disc setting does in the latest pop-fe?
When creating a pkg of metal gear solid with or without the setting enabled i can still swap the disc by pressing the PS button.

It allows you to swap the disc at any time regardless of the game prompting you to or not.

did anyone else encounter a ton of errors while trying to use this app? because at first i just had errors for missing components i needed to download so i downloaded everything and it started to work but when i want to finally make the PKG i just keep getting an error, from what i understand its having problems generate the .cu2 file which in turn gives even more errors because the code cant find it.
please does anyone know of a fix, I've been trying to use this program for around 3 hours now

IF you are on windows Its possible your virus scanner or protection is removing files from it maybe, due to the way he converts python into .exe on windows it causes a lot of virus scanners to falsely detect it as something bad, this is assuming you are also downloading the "release" files, IF you are trying to build from source then yes the readme is outdated and really does need to be updated. If you are getting .cu2 problems i would first check the cu2 .exe is there (again assuming windows, if you are on linux then it wont be .exe) and just run it on its own and make sure it has no issues.

I actually already figured it out, the message verification process just takes a while. I actually downloaded the raw code of the program because I didn't want to read everything so that's why I was having so much trouble . Thanks anyway.

When creating pkg's with the following serials: SCED01152, SCED01819.... Everything with SCEDxxxxx.
Pop-fe doesn't recognises the demodiscs and won't allow to create a PKG resulting with the following error:

MD5 fingerprint 3666db2627089e419f6702b1e5eea955

bug report medievil 2 (SCES-02544) sometimes when you have the sword equiped and power the attack holding square. dan will continue to spin him self even after he attack. to easily reproduce this issue is to go to first level (the museum) and go to the area you collect the chalice try to defeat the zombies with charged attack as i mention. for the things to return to normal you need to change to another area.

So I just downloaded the latest version and I'm getting missing .dll errors, it also said something about "failed to load python39.dll", I'm on win7, it was working before with whatever older version I was using, damn should've made a backup. I've already tried other early versions and it's giving me the same errors now for who knows why, any help?

the python error is due to official python 3.9 not having windows 7 support, you need to download
https://github.com/adang1345/PythonWin7
which is a unofficial python 3.9 port for win7 then place the DLL's needed into the _INTERNAL folder of pop-fe
hope that helps

My two cents are in this post. I was able to run a newer python app on win 7 successfully including pop-fe

Thanks guys, I installed python 3.9 from that github and copied the missing dll and it's working again, not sure how it was working before because I had only python 2.7 installed before.
