Hello everyone! First post but been an avid reader of the forums for awhile. Anyway I have an issue with the pop-fe ps3 gui software that I need help with.
I've been in the process of ripping my PS1 multidisc games to run on my jailbroken PS3. I've bought these games back when they originally released in the 90s so had them for many moons.
Anyway, I've ripped them to BIN/CUE format and was able to add the individual discs (FF IX in this case) to the software to create the PKG file. The file is created successfully, however when I load it on the PS3 the game loads fine but testing the disc switch function through the settings via the PS button i reset the game, switch to disc 4, expecting it to tell me to insert disc 1 when I start a new game but it doesn't do that its still on disc 1 regardless what disc I switch to. The other multidisc games I have does the same thing including my original RE2 which had 2 discs.
Is there something I possibly missed on why only the first disc plays but not the others when I switch to them? With RE 2 when I try to switch to Claire's disc it still plays Leon's disc which mean the disc has not switched even though it says disc 2 on the Settings screen.
When I create the eboot file for my PSP using PSX2PSP with the same games they switch properly like they should so im not sure why the pop-fe ps3 program isn't doing that.
