PSP POPS - External Configs and Ad Hoc Params

Alright, just made 2 configs, and I'm also supplying one made by The_Ho at GbaTemp:

007 Racing (fixes audio stutter and slowdown)
Crash Team Racing (improves framerate, fixes screen tearing and fmv playback is somewhat fixed, although a black line on the right of the fmv is still present. Minimal screen tearing can be seen when selecting a character in the PAL release)
Digimon World 2003 (made by The_Ho, fixes various hangs related to screen transitions)

Are these ready to be added? Please tag with "Ronnie please add" so I know which ones are work in progress and which are ready to be merged into pop-fe.

Added.
I added the 007 racing config also to SLES03356 and SLES03357

Digimon World 2003 is called Digimon World 3 in NTSC-U/J Should I add it to them too or is this config only affecting PAL?

@Webardo Nice work with CTR! At this point, we can only trust ourselves instead of relying on Sony's fixes.

With 007 Racing, I actually took a look at that game last night but could not replicate any slowdown or issue on the first level on Vita. Does the slowdown happen there or later on?

@Ronnie Sahlberg Good point. The last config pack I posted wasn't added yet, but I will mark that for any new configs I end up posting in the future.

Thanks! I can totally agree to that, it's mesmerizing to see just how many games have weird issues with such easy fixes... I'll tackle the Jumping Flash games afterwards, the entire saga has some really bad framerate issues with the official configs.

Huh, really? On my PSP lag was quite prominent in the mission briefing and in bumper camera. If the Vita has no problem running it I can re-submit the config and leaving the settings for PSP only.

No worries, I don't think there is any harm in keeping them. I will do a test with this config tonight and see if anything changes on the Vita's end as I am a little curious, though.

Can you re-post it? Or just link to which post have the configs I need to add.

Adding them,
SLPS-02120 was provided twice, both under the english name and also under the japaneese name. I picked the one under the english name (Rival Schools)
SLPS-02120 should be Shiritsu Justice Gakuen: Nekketsu Seisyun Nikki 2, which is technically "Rival Schools 2," if it was ever released in US. I did already add SLPS-01240 and SLPS-01241, which is Shiritsu Justice Gakuen: Legion of Heroes disc 1 and 2, into the Rival Schools folder.

Okay, so I was confirming wether Spyro 3's PSN release is based on version 1.0 or 1.1 and noticed that only the PAL releases for every european region have a small config, something the NTSC lacks. Weird, considering that every eboot (including european ones) is based on SCUS-94467 v1.0.
Perhaps other PAL releases have configs, while their NTSC counterparts do not. Will keep checking for others.

Config is attached to this post.

EDIT: turns out the entire trilogy has the same config for every PAL release? The exact same as the one I uploaded is applied on both Spyro 1 and 2. According to gamefaqs, they all came out on PSN on 12-12-12 for Europe. That makes me think that this was on purpose.

Just submitted the configs to Ronnie.

Hello Ronnie, please add these configs. They simply fix freezing or crashing altogether.

Ape Escape (crashed after the Dualshock warning screen. Made only for NTSC releases, PAL doesn't need it because it doesn't crash)
Gear Fighter Dendoh
Gundam Battle Assault 2
Hokuto no Ken - Seikimatsu Kyuuseishu Densetsu
Inuyasha - A Feudal Fairy Tale

As of now, there are configs for about 10 Bandai games (Digimon World 2003, Dr. Slump, two Power Rangers japanese games, Silent Bomber and Tail Concerto) including the ones I'm uploading. Most of them (only exception being DW2003, Silent Bomber and Tail Concerto) either use only cmd 0x04 set to 0xFFFFFFFB; or cmd 0x00 set to 0x06, 0x04 set to 0xFFFFFFF9 and 0x0A set to 0x18.
Seeing how many games Bandai published for PS1, this note may be helpful in the future. :)
