Error 8002F14E [General Hardware Issue] Problems:
It could be simply locked in an update loop. Your PS3 can be saved. Recheck all connections and cables and/or re-seating your hard drive.

I will try that and see is I can get it working I need to update it twice before of doing anything regarding HFW or CFW

Do you have issues with your BD drive??
I managed to get out of the update loop but the BD unit get power but it doesnt take disc in. Any recomendation for getting CFW on it? or I install han and call it day? I am aware of multiman issue whit non working BD units

Your error is due to a faulty BD drive. Most likely due to a faulty daughter board. Can you launch apps/games from the XMB right now?

the console right now has HFW I got in to the boot loop when installing HFW the first time I want to install it again for set CFW on it. Can I still safely use the flasher? I can get a no DB CFW install?

Well unless you already have CFW on your system you won't be able to install a No-BD firmware. You can get a daughter board for pretty cheap off eBay. Once that is I stalled it will allow fimrwsre install without a boot loop.

Maybe you can patch your flash without install HFW twice, but I'm not sure about that. @esc0rtd3w, is it possible to use flash writer to patch without install HFW twice or it's very dangerous? If it's possible, @Nekosakuya28 could install a noBD/noBT Cfw...

I am not willing to take apart a fully working ps3 but is I have to do it I will do it for get right of this ps3 once I set everything on it

He said he is on HFW..that is enough..he can patch flash and install no BD firmware if he wanted to.

BUT he does not need it, as his drive is obviously ok if he could install HFW once..probably just a connection. It does not need to read discs.

On CFW you dont need a drive that can take discs. If you installed HFW it means the board is ok. You can rip your games on PC.

What I was worried about was the fact he said he got stuck in a boot loop. I was thinking the error happened after he had it installed. Like he had HFW but then after that was getting an error.

Right now it has HFW install it doesnt loop anymore like before on a update loop when I turn it on. I am really wondering is the BD unit daugther board doesnt work properly because I took it apart and set again all cables turn it on it updated fine but it still doesnt take any disk it soo I guess it mind be the mecanisc stuck and that the DB unit is working beraly enouth for get HFW install
I am really grate full for the asistance. I am still open for any sugestion regarding CFW

Was you on 4.84 OFW before you installed HFW?

If so you can move onto using PS3xploit 2.0.1 to patch the flash to allow for CFW install. Once its patched you can install any CFW, inc NOBD if required.

If it was not on 4.84 OFW before installing HFW, then its recommended to install HFW again. This is because the last 2 versions are stored on flash, and you want them both to be "4.84" before patching the flash.

The mechanism and the laser are not really required and if you got HFW installed once it means your board is good.

Oh your good man. I'm sorry I misunderstood you. Even if the drive doesn't take a disc you can still install a No-BD firmware just fine. If you didn't get a boot loop from installing the HFW this time them your good. You won't have a working drive but it's not needed with a No-BD firmware and Cobra. Heck if it doesn't get stuck in a boot loop and cam still run apps etc you don't even need a No-BD firmware. The daughter board is working fine and that's all you need working. The drive itself doesn't have to be operational. I'm sorry I was misunderstanding you. And I'm always glad to help out a fellow gamer.

It was on 4.84 before I install HFW from the XBM menu I will patch it like usual and dump the flash and verify it
