PS3HEN Problem with installing OFW

So, I got HEN on my PS3 super slim not too long ago. Everything was working fine, I could play games and my usb would show up. Then, I decided that I want to go back to OFW but, now all of a sudden my usb isn't showing up anymore. My usb is on fat32 and MBR. I factory reset my ps3 thinking it would delete HEN but i think I just made it worse. Is there any way I can fix it so that my usb can read on my ps3 and be able to download the OFW again?
 
if you not on 4.88 yet, you can just use "update via internet" option. that will download and install ofw 4.88. (you do not need psn account for this.)

you can use "system update debug" to install from hard drive instead of usb. go here and read the part called "Using System Update Debug To Install PUP From HDD".
 
What if I'm on 4.88?

Also the system update debug thing doesn't work for me.

I got it to work but the option for installing on hdd is grayed out plus how could i copy the PUP file if my usb cant be recognized?

FTP is a way to send files over a network. webman has a ftp server running all the time (unless you disabled). rebug toolbox also has one running when you open it.

you also need a ftp client on your computer. (filezilla is a good one for windows.) the ps3 and computer (or phone/tablet/whatever) must be on the same network. put the pup file in a new folder named "dev_hdd0/updater/01".

I also don't have webman or rebug toolbox like the only things I have is activate hen and package manager.

Do you think if i replace the hdd on my ps3 it will delete everything including hen?

yes. you will have to install a firmware pup after changing hard drives and that will overwrite the part of hen not on the hard drive.

Alright i guess I'm gonna have to buy a new hdd cuz nothing else is working. I appreciate you for helping.
