PS3 ProDG Debugger will not launch.

Hello people, I am having this problem where the ProDG debugger shows this downloading tab every time I load up the debugger. The download never finishes, and when I try to cancel it; the debugger hangs. I checked dev_flash and the file is small, so it shouldn't take that long. I just came back to the CFW scene a few months ago and converted to DEX. Never had this problem in the past with the debugger. Would be great if someone could assist me.

It looks like a network issue. If you're using WiFi, try connecting the PS3 and PC directly using ethernet.

Also try disabling the firewall and/or the antivirus on the PC. It could be a restricted port.

The fix for this is open Rebug toolbox and then on TMAPI click file explorer or use filezilla and go to this path
  • /dev_rebug/sys/external
Copy everyfile in that folder and paste them in the following path. and Debugger will open
  • C:\Users\AppData\Local\SN Systems\ProDG Debugger for PS3\flash_files\0408043e

were you ever able to find a fix for this i am having the same issue

if that worked i would not have asked for a fix…
If it didn't work then you are clearly having a different issue , or didn't do it right.
As long as you do what I said and your LV2/Target are DEX and you have debug setting set correctly it will work.

nope got it working tho all i had to do was enable dev_flash in webman.

You didn't have to do that, all that does is make it so you can access the flash without going into rebug toolbox or multiman. Nothing wrong with having it on just be careful when messing around with stuff in the flash.

Just my 2 cents. I dont have to copy any files either when using debugger. It just works out of the box with Rebug DREX, OFW DEX, and Evilnat DPEX.

I also thought that was needed a while back, but it is not.

yes its random, i first encountered the issue years ago when joonie first released a updated rebug. that's the only reason i knew to drag the files and its worked every time for people who randomly had the issue. but I've never had it but one time. its def something pc related imo.

I don't remember what caused this, but this used to be a thing back in windows 7 days.. could be related to firewall settings or file permissions on devflash. Can't remember exactly but manual file copy does work when ProDG fails to access devflash
surprised you are still active on here lol, i don't know if you remember me but we use to talk on skype occasionally, think i even invited you to a gta group with me you tustin and kryptus, i was surprised back then when you wanted to learn about more about game memory editing but were pumping out rebug updates lmao.
