Guys, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you try CFWs by 50 MHz increments, otherwise a brick can happen! If you get unstable at a certain point, don't go further!
I have decided that I will keep it online until tonight 20 o'clock German time. I make the compromise that you write to me by PM. As always, at your own risk, so that there are no more bricks to people to underestimate the risk.
What are you currently running?Do you by any chance have 700/800 that i could try?
CFW 4.90 PEX 650/750 at 62C. I have delided and repasted my GPU and CPU So i would really like to try the next stepWhat are you currently running?

maybe this helps further?Any idea ?
Please only ever increase one part at the time. If there are issues the possibility of a brick is much higher.CFW 4.90 PEX 650/750 at 62C. I have delided and repasted my GPU and CPU So i would really like to try the next step![]()
first off, sad to hear that and my condolence. I dunno if @Evilnat has applied appldr sig-patch, but if so, you could try FSM with dongle, to see if it can boot. the sig-patch will let you exit FSM on 4.xx. will try it on my DECR with 65nm to cross-check and see how it goesJust, do not install it on a 65nm RSX PS3
I would really like to try the 700/750 first if possible. I still think it is a little bit unclear how to generate my own CFWWhat model is it? Fat models don't like to OC that much so you should be very, very careful. I can give you a 700/750, a 650/800 and a 700/800 file, just be aware that in the event of a brick, it is your own responsibility.

Thank you !first off, sad to hear that and my condolence. I dunno if @Evilnat has applied appldr sig-patch, but if so, you could try FSM with dongle, to see if it can boot. the sig-patch will let you exit FSM on 4.xx. will try it on my DECR with 65nm to cross-check and see how it goes
now I think of it, this probably is not very helpful at all, cause you cannot do anything in FSM on 4.xx, so in the end it would only let you boot PS3.Thank you !
I didn't know this method, I'll check that.

As soon as lv2 wants to complete the rsx init (even before the display gets a signal) the PS3 crashes.
dunno myself, but I am just thinking about this DEX police siren brick. on 3.55, it was possible to force flash a DEX CFW/OFW on CEX with FSM and it would work just fine. but now, as soon as you would leave FSM, the PS3 does this awful siren (10 beeps or so) and bricksDo you think that FSM will ignore that the RSX is crashing?
I have tried to create one desperately and lost patience. though, I have not tried to create a spu binary, which I was told should workMaybe a custom lv2dialog.self that can ignore it could be made?
afair, no available lv2diag works on 4.xx and even on 3.55, my selfmade tests did not work. unfortunately, neither Jaicrab nor Crashserious ever have released their sourcesDo you know if by chance the Jaicrab Preloader lv2diag.self could work? it can dump and restore both nand, nor, and dev_flash.
No way to control mhz with a "menu" and a simple reset of the cfw? And ps3 store 2 fw right? Exist a way to read other "safe" fw if the other one softbrick?
Something like "priiloader" on wii.
