PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

Hello! At this moment I am testing the 700/900 b9 version and so far it is going well. Could you compile a 750/900 version? or what do you recommend? 2501a Jul 2010
thanks!

Then it's GG bro.

@LuanTeles @RIP-Felix @Mitsu™ guys......one of my PS3s is eating 950 core for breakfast WTF!!!!???
PS3 Pro Supersonic edition ! Incredible !
And it's truly stable ? Even at high temps and all ? :0

Please make 900/950 beta9 if it's not difficult.:tennis:
I will :encouragement:

Thank you, yes there is an increase in performance for example in far cry3 in the initial scene when they are sitting in a cage on the drain there is 14-16 fps and with overclocking I have almost stable 30 fps)

Yep, it's PEX, I confirm.

OKAY! 2501A 750/900 graphic errors. I go back to 700/900. What do I have left to try?

I'm still testing on 2501a. In Gta V I have graphic errors, I don't know if it is in the core at 700 or the ram at 900. Can you create one at 650/900 and another at 700/850 all in cex? Thanks!

in general, after the non-stable kernel 900 returned to 850, now crysis appeared small artifacts that were not there before and MotorStorm began to freeze after 10-15 minutes, although before that I played it for three hours and everything was stable. Do you think the silicon could have burned out or what What else will happen because of unstable frequencies for it?

Hello, I want to test these clock speeds as beta 9.
600/800
600/825
600/850
600/875
I Want to Test at 600/900
I take notes !

Mmh, can you show us pictures of these artifacts in Crysis ? I need to verify something. This game has a lot of graphical issues. Glitchy shadows in far distances, etc ..

I'll try to take a photo, I just walked a little further, I had artifacts of trees in the distance and the plane was flying by, instead of it there was a black square, and the sound sometimes began to freeze, but before that this didn't happen, do you think the crystal could have burned out and after that it can't maintain those frequencies which he had held before.

This is a possibility.
I also noticed these trees artifacts in the distance, even at stock value.
Strange.

Check this post for artifacting examples :

Well, about Crysis, I agree, in this game it is sometimes difficult to understand whether the game is defective or not, but the fact that MotorStorm froze gave me an idea because this had not happened before, in any case, thanks for the answer, I'll test it further and write it down.

At the request of Mitsu, just wanted to pop in here and post my results from overclocking my 2502B (which has an apparently lesser known RSX revision of CXD5300DGB).

Console seems happy at 700/1000 when playing Crysis (haven't tested anything else yet). Can't push the core any higher. Even going to 750 causes the white flickering textures.

Seems like a bit of a weird lower core and higher memory mix with the silicon lottery. Not that I'm complaining though, still a good OC.

It means you aren't stable there. 800 is your stable clock. It means when your temperature reaches a certain point it loses stability, so it's stability relies on lower temps.that is If what you are seeing are artifacts and not the graphical bugs this game has with LOD and shadows.
