PS VITA / PS TV PS Vita and PS TV Mid-Month Release Roundup

It has been a busy month for the Vita scene with several homebrew game releases, a couple of ports, a few of updates to some handy utilities, and even a new version of everyone's favorite GBA emulator. To start off, on the last day of July, we saw an update to Joel16's VITAlbum, bringing the multi-format picture viewer up to version 1.10; and we also saw the much anticipated release of VitaHEX Games' The Hallway v1.0, the P.T. clone that now features a puzzle that allows you to escape the house. In the first few days of August, endrift released mGBA v0.8.3, which brought many bugfixes and stability improvements to this Gameboy Advance emulator. That same week Northfear released GemRB Port for PS Vita, which allows users to play several games designed for Bioware's Infinity Engine. The following day SKGleba released YAMT v4.0. a great tool for SD2VITA users that now supports PSVSD and USB, plus allows you to format your SD/USB to TexFAT directly from your Vita. Just in this last week alone, we saw four releases: a port of Baldi's Basics Classic by hat, Crekeryop released v0.65 of his manga/comic reader NOBORU, a new homebrew game called Vita Stacks was released from VitaHEX Games, and another homebrew game from JJH called MemoryGame was also unveiled to the world.

I started messing around with Vita emulator on the PC, and figured why don't I just see where the Vita scene is at and hack my Vita and re-hack my PS TV.

Time for me to get my PS3s out of storage and mess around with those too, but with RPCS3 being so good at the moment, I have not had the same drive to check things out.

What I really need to do is find my 2 PSPs and make sure their batteries aren't starting to explode yet.

Lol at first I thought someone was bumping old threads for the last couple of weeks till I looked at the timestamps. Welcome back brother.

off topic, but @tthousand @Skiller are my amiibo buddies. I'm interested if either of you still collect them. there are a couple coming out in October. one of them is hero from dragon quest xi I believe. I forgot the other one. I preordered both of mine from best buy the day they went on sale, so hopefully, they're still available.

@GregoryRasputin glad to see your still around. It's great to see so many names I still know.

@ncageregal thank you for welcome back. I've been having so much fun on my Vita, I figured I would give a little back.

@pinky I cannot remember the last time I bought an amiibo or even wanted to. I have my collection in storage, but it would be nice to have a few out if I ever start playing LoZ BotW again. I think those are probably the last ones I picked up.

@tthousand , I'm probably missing at least 20, and I have no idea which ones exactly. it's too difficult to keep track especially with bs like store exclusives. I did buy a second out of the box bowser, wedding amiibo last night to find purple coins in odyssey. I just don't want to use a guide for the game.
