November is gone, and December is here; which means it's time for another monthly round up of all the PS Vita and PS TV releases we have seen in the month of November. We saw 28 releases this month, which averages out to about 1 a day. Some of these were brand new, and some were updates to previous releases.
Looking at the applications we saw in November, it is safe to say it had been a great month for gamers. Starting the month off we had Northfear's FHeros2 receive an update, which brought major performance enhancements to free Heros of Might and Magic II engine. Speaking of big boosts, fgsfdsgs released an update of PrBoom Plus that greatly increased the software renderer performance, so you can enjoy all your Doom wads even more. GrahpenCt released an update to MARISA Highlow, which uses his latest developer libraries. We saw many fixes and additions to usineur's HODE, which is a rewrite of the Heart of Darkness engine. Rinnegatamante blessed us with 3 updates this month, increasing performance and visuals to the following ports: re3-vita (GTA3), vitaWolfen (Wolfenstein 3D) and vitaQuakeII. Parking Lot Studio released a brand new FPS/Horror game called Dark Paradigm. VitaDev also released a brand new game called Lost on Island, which is a first-person game where you have to survive being stranded on an island. We also saw many more great applications released this month, so be sure to take a look at the list below for more information and details.
Now looking at plugins, there have been some great additions here as well. SKGleba released a collection of plugins he is calling VitaTools, which include a plugin for formatting internal storage, a plugin for recovery, and a few other miscellaneous plugins as well. MERLev released quite a collection this month too, with the addition of 3 brand new plugins to help you enjoy your PS Vita and PS TV: ds34vita which allows you to use DS3 or DS4 controllers on your Vita (up to 2 at a time), reVita which allows you to remap your entire control setup on the Vita and PS TV, and DS34Motion which brings DS3 and DS4 motion control support to the PS TV. And as always, take a look at the list below for even more vita releases that we have seen this month.
