When playing PS1 or PS2 games on my PAL CFW PS3 with HDMI i get input lag.
According to this thread it's a know issue: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/ps3s-hdmi-has-built-in-lag-on-ps1-ps2-games.753069/
I would really like to play PS1 and PS2 games without this input lag.
Because i have a PAL system (CECH-2504B) i can only select 576p not 480p.

What i've set/tried:
- Put my Sony A80J in Game Mode
- Disable A/V Sync on the TV
- Rebuilding the database
- all the settings from this video:
- reset the PS3 controllers

But when i play Tekken 3 NTSC which is a 480i game is still get input lag.
When playing Tekken 3 on my CFW PS3 the game does run at NTSC speed but is the game displayed at 576p and because of the resolution change i get input lag?

When i load the game with multiman and have the multiman settings set to PAL > 567p and NTSC > 480p i also get input lag. maybe because it's changing from 480i to 480p?

When i create a PKG using POP-FE and i edit the PARAM.SFO to only 480 so the game resolution is 480p will the lag be gone because the PS3 doesn't need to change the resolution anymore or will i still get lag because im using a PAL PS3 576p resolution?

Does anyone have the same problems, and do you have any settings i can adjust so i can play my PS1 and PS2 games input lag free, without having to use composite cables?
Thanks!
