PS2 Ps2 50004 hdd keep asking for for formatting after restarting ps2 on hdd manager of ulaunchelf 4.4.7

Hello my ps2 fat 50004 internal hdd ( Seagate st1000lm024) shows connect but not formatted in hddmanager of ulaunchelf 4.4.7, isx when i tried to format it it takes more time for formatting which is not common but when i restart console, hdd still became connected but not formatted " this issue happened due to i run opl beta 1.2 from usb for test .. I got black screen .. so i restart ps2 still getting black screen after boot .. so i removed hdd from back of ps2 and try to boot again without hdd . Finally ps2 booted , i formatted ps2 harddrive with winhiip again to tried to install FHDB again by installing _mbr.raw to hdd by hddrawtool.. when I connected hdd to ps2 so getting same issue connnected but not formatted. FHDB was running good in past , I can't install it anymore due to hdd issue.. i tried to clean disk with diskpart also. But nothing worked.. stuck at same point .?? Please help me
I tried to use same hdd in exfat format and update Opl GD in mc. Hdd running by usb showing games but not
showing games on hdd (from expansion bay ) ....
 
You should stop using WinHIIP for formatting disk if its size is above 1TiB or for installing games on it.

You cannot use someone else disk image with APA for anything else than booting into uLE and formatting it, because APA is making for target disk size. Mismatching that leads to wrongly APA partitions assembling.

In vase of exFAT on MBR/GPT and OPL/OPL GD/uOPL: disk must be turned on in options and it takes place on BDM category, not APA/IDE category.
 
My drive size is 1 tb .... I tried another drive 1 tb segate barracuda (ST1000LM048) last night , I tried to format it with PFS batch manager from pc and heck it from it .. i connected to ps2 , I had same issue connnected but not formatted and after that i restart the console ..I was not getting any output ... .. looks like my ps2 fucked up and no output anymore... I tried to desemble it by mistake fan solder broken by me.. fan not running but i clean dust from inside with brush.. still not getting any output?? First time i opened ps2.. no video output..

Everything was great before opl beta 1.2 .. .. i should not tired it ..I had 307 games installed on hdd , FHDB was running great... I had no issue.. . I regret it .. i brought ps2 with my saving.. I always wanted buy it when i was kid .. i brought it after 20 years in 2023.. in try of fixing it , it destroyed it .... Do you think my motherboard have issues now ??

I followed this video for first time it worked for me .. after running opl 1.20 beta .. it did not worked at all second time

I installed FHDB first time cause my freemcboot card got corrupted ... I had only games in hdd that time .. so i followed this youtuber method .. it worked for me ..i installed 307 games by hdlbatchinstallergui 2.3, i don't clearly remember i used first time 24bit format or 48bit format on winhiip. 2nd time after opl 1.20 beta .. I used 48bit format on winhiip, i also tired 24 bit format when I was getting issue "connnected not format " on hddmanager.. nothing worked for me .. after that you know everything what i have done with ps2

I don't have time to watching videos.

When you put HDD (doesn't matter with what on it) to console and start uLE. Does you see in HDD Manager "Connecting: Yes" or you seeing "No"? If No, that means it is hardware issue.

And no, it is not related to OPL anyhow.
 
. i connected to crt today .. i have video output now ..but ps2 getting factory reset by itself everytime I turn on .. i tried fmcb card on slot 1, did not work .. i worked once on slot 2 .. .. again resetting by itself
 
Yeah sure i will try it .. i never heard something like exist ... But I need original sony network adapter which I dont have now .. I will try it in future soon . Thanks
