Hey there, recently got into the whole PS2 Classics thing and I got a few games up and running. So I wanted to get Persona 4 on my ps3, right? Well when I go through the first step, it doesn't work because,

"Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 4 is larger than 4gb and the file system for the application is not NTFS"

I'm on my computer and I'm not using anything FAT32.

Help lol

PS2 Classics can be played only from internal HDD.

You can install them as standalone packages. In this case the .BIN.ENC is stored in /dev_hdd0/game/<GAMEID>/USRDIR

Or you can put the .BIN.ENC in /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO and mount it using webMAN MOD or any other backup manager that supports PS2 classics. The game must be launched using PS2 Classics Launcher (aka PS2 Classics Placeholder).

The extension .BIN.ENC must be in upper case.

If you use webMAN MOD, the .BIN.ENC can be stored also in NTFS, exFAT or FAT32. But the file will be copied to /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO before mount the game.

No, I mean the PS2 Classic GUI Encoder/Packager on the PC. It gives me the error that the iso file is over 4gb and therefor cannot make it into a iso.bin.enc

Heres the video that I followed instructions on:

Files stored in FAT32 cannot exceed 4GB (2³² = 4,294,967,296 bytes -1). That is a limitation of FAT32.

Try converting the ISO in the internal HDD of your PC which usually is NTFS.

IS it possible to use PS3 Splitter to Split the ESN.BIN File in 2 files and transfer it then to the internal HDD? iam trying to do that but for some reason the Splitted games dont show up in Webman but the Unsplitted games do show up

can you not ftp it wirelessly or wired with an ethernet/crossover cable? the latter would be the fastest way possible to get that game where you need it. I seem to recall multiman being able to join split files, then recompile on the internal hdd in some sort of cache. I don't know if it works with ps2 classics though. since they have to be played from internal, people usually transfer them directly instead of splitting them first.
