Ps2 game on ps3 crash?

Hey, installed a ISO game (ps2) on my ps3
All right done, if i start the game the console crash and get restart. In toolbox i cant find setting about ps2 emulator to enable.

Any reason why this crash?

Cobra enabled.

Edit:/ game is installed on HDD (no disc)

Is the game compatible? What type of console? firmware? region of game etc etc etc.

You cant just say "my ps2 game crashed, why?" lol. That is like saying "my car wont start, why?" , does it have an engine?

Don't touch anything in toolbox for PS2 settings you just need to enable COBRA and make sure NOT to disable Syscalls

According to this wiki page, the compatibility is currently unknown except for PAL.

Well This game works fine via netemu after all. SLUS-21004, tested on 4.84.2 DEX mode.

You do, it's already inside the firmware. Try different PS2ISO files.

I think you installed something that broke your PS2 compatibility unless you have bad PS2 ISO files. Try reinstalling the same firmware as in stock (don't mess with psnpatch or SENEnabler) and then try

Make sure your syscalls NOT disabled via webMAN, also I recommend reinstalling the firmware. There's no reason why PS2 wouldn't work unless you have bad game files.

Ok i try delete webman, and download the rebug firmware 4.84 put on usb /ps3/update/.pup and go to update from usb and reinstall same firmware again and try to open this game again? Or what i need to do.


2) i dont really unterstand why i have webman, if ps3 started automaticly i see right top "webman loaded" so its activ? But why i need this ?.. have psnptch...

I ripped both my US and PAL version of Def Jam Fight For NY as ISO and confirm they both are indeed working on Rebug 4.84.2 when mounted with webMAN.

Do as Joonie has said and if it still doesn't work, then I can only assume you downloaded a bad ISO and I won't help any further.
