Easiest way just download Managunz and install the PKG, then when you load a game through it it will ask you if you want to install the cfg you just hit yes and it's installed. You then could play that game using something else like Multiman if you choose and the config will still work. Just get the latest version 1.37 and it should have all the configs built into it just automates the process for you.

version 1.38 is out now.

whats a pkg ? is it the .hack\\infection Part 1 file ? if so how do i decipher the file names ??
a pkg is a file that installs to your ps3.

to find which config to use, look on your ps2 disc and find the title id number. for u.s. discs it will look like SLUS20362 but with different numbers. then find the config with that title id. some games dont have configs or the configs dont fix all problems.

some games may say "use tony hawk fix". this means use the config from a "tony hawk" game. i had to do this with Gun. (it may have its own config now)

My game is SLUS-20998 but when i check under custom and net folders i only see 209.93 & also im trying to play a tony hawk game and in the notes it says need config file so i downloaded the pkg file that matched the games SLUS-# how do i apply the file ?

If I can remember correctly, there is a PKG file that installs all of the current/latest config files for PS2 games.

I forget the name of the PKG file, but I will do some research and report back, hopefully with a download link.
