PS3 PS2 ISO LAUNCHER 1.03 by HABIB

As most PS3 CFW user's know launching PS2 ISO (w/ Cobra) after firmware 4.46 caused many problems for nonBC consoles. Developer HABIB has been mowing down these obstacles, first he found a solution for the wireless sync issues on a single controllers, Then later on he fixed this for all controllers connected . Then also the developer has fixed the memory card bug.[break]s[/break]

Now developer HABIB has released a new version of PS2 ISO Launcher (v1.03) for HABIB COBRA 4.70 V1.02 CFW. This release comes with empty memory card and same klicensee. Also this version comes equipped with a PS2 Classic Converted Game (Homebrew Game), that you should start first before mounting a PS2 ISO, this ensure controller syncing and is a very important step. Instructions:

1.) Activate ps2 classic placeholder through psnpatch or reactpsn and install this pkg
2.) Run it and maintain sync (without mounting any games)
3.) Now onwards when you mount a ISO, run the Placeholder Icon and ISO will be loaded

1.) Habib 4.70 cobra 7.10 v1.02
2.) (theoretical compatible) Rebug 4.70.1 with cobra on joonies github (compilation required) (CEX only-dex requires a patch)

Finally we have passed through PS2 ISO difficulties after 4.46 cobra.

Hey bud wondering if u could help me i stumble into a problem this morning!!
I had my ps2 iso's working with launcher and aswell my iso.bin.enc format i tried to load iso this morning but it wont work it stays on no signal screen but if i launch a bin.enc that will work, not to mention im on cobra 4.46 cobra so shouldnt have an issue,
Any input woukd be appreciated

 

You are runing isos thru launcher or just from icon in xmb? Try both options, launcher is not needed on your cfw to run isos.

Yeah i have indeed tried both icon and launcher, icon results in hdmi signal screen and launcher result in previouse iso.bin.enc loaded also i have reinstalled rap for the sake of it even tho launcher works NO diffrence

 

Look like is problem with your stage2 file. Maybe you used some app/plugin that made classic_ps2 flag on root of your hdd? If yes then delete that file.

Sorry yes that was the first thing i did forgot to mention the flag file,
Also stage2.cex/dex are booth good as i created my own spoof and edited the filed with new hashes and was working originally

 

There can be problem only with one of this files: stage2.cex or ps2_netemu.self. Make backup, and replace this files to check which one is problem for you. Remember this are dev_flash files and messing there is dangerous.

And ps2_netemu.self from any 4.46 cobra cfw. Eg, rogero mixed with cobra or rebug 4.46 mixed with cobra.

it was working after you did the spoof, is there anything else you changed since it worked previously?

Nope never replaced or tampered with and only installed sen enabler + plugin and vsh rebug plugin (nothing but hedache with that)
I did however try xrwgistry reatore backup with toolbox if that could be it IDK

could be possible, yeah I would say a few bug in vsh menu still (which both plugins use) as it has a tendency to break ftp for me (to the point I have to re-install FW)

Are you reverted to your old cobra file? Only cobra 7.1 have this function. Is only idea that i have.. But anyway is ok if you can still use iso with icon. And classic via launcher.

I think Habib enabled redirection of ISO to Placeholder in 4.50+ FWas it was not needed in 4.46 and lower so if it worked from placeholder before maybe you had a later 4.50+ sprx installed

 

It's possible to add the ability to recognize USB ports?
It can resolve the problem with "singstar" games (usb microphones)...

I really need help....
I tried so many tutorials now and nothing works. And I am totally clueless in what I am doing wrong.
I load an ISO with Multiman and start it in XMB with Loader and Icon, but the PS3 simply turns black and then shuts down.
My actual CFW is Habib 4.70 vers. 1.03 and I work with Iso Launcher 1.03. My PS3 (40GB) is nonBC.
Please help.
