Hello,
Recently I tried using scart to play on a CRT and only with PS2 ISOs my PS3 Slim does the 3 beeps and blinking red light associated with overheating on booting the game. Every once in a while the game will boot just fine and can play for hours. Temperatures never even hit 60°C due to fans running. Upscaler and smoothing are both off and all other games boot fine. When using HDMI there are no issues. Any clues as to what could cause this?
I am on Evilnat 4.88 CFW and already have tried restoring file system, restoring database, fiddling with display settings, and reflashing ps2_netemu via ultimate toolbox. The only thing that seems to cause a change in behavior is analog output vs HDMI. I verified the same issue occurs with composite, s-video, and SCART. Worst fear is some part of hardware is failing and not sure where to begin.
