PS2 PS2 PAL OPL PAL vs NTSC Iso

I just got a PAL PS2 and CRT TV that also supports NTSC output, i softmodded the PAL PS2 now my question is what is the preferred way of playing on a PS2? PAL or NTSC Iso's? Is there any difference at all?

if the console is modded it does not matter at all. download , run and play

PAL has 576 lines compared to NTSC 480 lines, but :

-PAL runs at 50 frames per second whereas NTSC runs at 60
-most games were first made for NTSC then converted to PAL ( sometimes the conversion is not so good )

Conclusion : try NTSC first and if it seems too fast use PAL . Examples where i use PAL ( sport games, racing )
