Hey all, Im trying to play some good old ps2 games on my ps3. I tried using PS2Classics to get the fatal frame series to play and it hasn't worked. As soon as I click on the game, it boots up but it doesnt load the ps2 menu and then turns off as if nothing is plugged into the hdmi. I can record my screen if anything. Additionally, i was able to play ps2 games through this guys store[LINK REMOVED]. I got Silent hill 2 and 3 to work but haven't had any luck with the fatal frame series which I used PS2 Classics to package and are pkg files.
Not sure if this is a compatability issue or not. I am using HEN 4.88 and I'm not exactly sure what CFW is or what CFW i should use. I intially just got this ps3 to play ps2 games and never thought this would give me issues as the videos all seemed straightforward. If anyone is knowledgable help is very much appreciated! Thank you.
