PS2Classics GUI Config Files

Hey there,
I'm halfway through backing up my PS2 games and I keep running into this issue;
I've been lucky enough to get like 5 games backed-up and running on PS3 so far,
but I've had trouble with Gran Turismo 4 and Crash Tag Team Racing,

I had to download the Gran Turismo 4 config file from the database,
do I also need to move that file to the PS3's config files?

And I can't find Crash Tag Team Racing's listed in the Config Database,
what can I do when I can't find the right config file?

Is there a universal config file I can use for every game? (That would be mega helpful)

So i think I've just realised what's going on;

When making a PKG file, the PS2classicsGUI will ask for the Encrypted file and a Config file, after you've provided the encrypted file if you just cancel the operation instead of selecting a config file, only then will the GUI give you the option to name your file, because when you provide the config file it will name itself according to that file.

I've done the cancelling process twice and the games seem to run fine, but I'm not sure why these naming conventions have managed to work, the games without config files are both named:
SLUS00000
SLUS00001
(This seems to be working as my 'universal' config file atm...)
I'm just hoping I don't run into any issues doing it this way.
Any info about this would be appreciated :)

When I first tried this, I mistakenly named 2 of my pkg files the same way,
and after I installed the second pkg file I tried to load the new game,
but it just loaded up the other game with the same file name lol

This also caused some issues with mmCM, leading me to have to manually (hard) reboot;
So I would suggest avoiding doubles of files with the same name,
poor mmCM mustn't have known what was going on.
