Hi everyone!
Yesterday I repaired a PS3 model 2001B with a DYN-001 motherboard. The issue was related to the NEC/TOKIN capacitors, and I diagnosed it using the SYSCON, which was showing a lot of 3004 errors.
After replacing the components, I ran some basic tests and everything seemed to work fine.
Then I decided to clean the motherboard and reassemble the console.
However, after reassembly, the power button stopped working.
I checked the flat cable and it appears to be fine.
So I connected to the SYSCON again and used the bringup command — the PS3 powered on and worked normally.
Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?
Just to clarify the eject button works normally, only the power button is unresponsive.
