PS3 PS3 BROWSER NOT WORKING

Hi My name is Keam I'm a 20 year old retro fanatic
I recently bought a refurbished PlayStation 3(hackable model) so I can jailbreak it I try to boot up browser and all it shows is a bunch of random Nonsense like yddhdfhhdhxhxhdhdndnshsusksnsshj etc google doesn't work ps3xploit doesn't work idk what to do is there any fix to this?

does this page always open automatically when you open the browser? if yes, then it is set as the homepage. change it to a black page.

i think maybe someone wanted to set the homepage to the HEN installer, but the bookmarked link points to the binary file instead of the html file.

I had this happen to me last night with my CECHE01 80GB backwards compatible model, what worked for me was going directly to the toolset link.
Type this into the address bar on you PS3:
** www.** ** www.ps3xploit.net > D... (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com)/bgtoolset/

Yeah, I think I remember reading somewhere that different models used different versions of the browser and I think that may have something to do with it. I'm not entirely sure. I've installed CFW on 3 PS3's in the last few months but only the CECHE01 model gave me problems with the browser.

Nothing but blank white even after trying to put other addresses in home screen.

do not use .com site! it was taken over. use ps3xploit.me for hen and ps3toolset.com for cfw.

if .me site is down, ps3addict.github.io has 2 other hen installers. it's my site.
