Please Help!!! I Just Got Stucked On Recovery Mode. I Accidentaly Corrupted My PS3 System (Software Issue), And Now I want to Reinstall The FW. But The Problem Is To Enter Into Recovery mode it Tells Me To insert Usb Cable And Press PS Button On Controller, And My PS3 Controller Is Not Recognising The System, It Keeps Blinking 4 Lights. I Have One Gamepad And One PS3 Controller. What Should I Do :confused:
On Gamepad There's No PS Button And On PS3 (Sixaxis) Controller There is, But The Controller only keeps blinking.. i tried resetting the controller but nothing works. Please Help!!!!

Did you insert the usb cable to your ps3 and connected with your controller? You never mentioned it, that's why I am asking, because you have to do it. If your hardwork(Controller) doesn't work it's time to buy a new(maybe second hand) one.

yes i have inserted the usb cable and connected with my controller. (I Think I Need To Buy A New Controller) Cause That Controller R2 Button Was Broken...

Maybe the sisaxis battery was completly empty when you tryed it ?

You can keep the PS3 turned on for some minutes with the sisaxis connected to it by USB... 10 or 15 minutes should be enought to rechargue the battery a bit

it may or may not be your cable cuz it is charging or it has gotten loose so it can only charge. just get a different cable cuz in recovery mode, it connects using the wire only.

Googled into this topic with same issue: can't connect sixaxis controller (that old one without vibration, not dualshock) to ps3 slim in recovery mode. Using same cord to connect newer dualshock or even move navigation controller is successful. May it slim version has not support of plain sixaxis controller shipped with first FATs?

Please Reply If Someone Knows Hot To Fix this.My PS3 Is Stuck In Safe Mode It say Connect The Controller With USB Cable And When I plug My Charger It Doesnt Sync even I Tried to reset it and tried other controllers too

maybe your USB ports are bad. plugin a flash drive with a light that flashes to see if power is getting to USB while PS3 is turned on.
