PS3 crashes with no signal when booting up PS2 games:

Before telling you my issue, my PS3 is dying gradually, no audio at all unless I use external speakers, HDMI Port doesn't work, AV Port doesn't work unless I use PS2HDMI on it, my PS3 can't access Recovery mode at all even by holding the power button, it takes way too long to boot my PS3 up like in a minute and now my PS3 doesn't boot up PS2 games.

Whenever I boot up a PS2 game via PKGs or PS2 Classics, it just crashes with my TV displaying a no signal error, my controller neither connects to the PS3, unless it's wired to it, and I have to disconnect the PS3 in order to get out of the crash. How do I fix this?

PS1 games work though.

It seems like your RSX is gradually failing. The thermal cycles indicate this is a possibility (taking several attempts to turn it on)

What model of PS3 do you have?

Yep, all the symptoms point towards the RSX being in trouble. If it's jail broken, you can run PS3 Advanced Tools to dump the Syscon log onto a USB. Then, you can open the SM folder on a PC or laptop. Some of the error codes my help to determine what's going on
